The instant disclosure provides a process for preparing a lubricant or fuel additive mixture where an oil of lubricating viscosity or fuel are blended with additives that are mixed via an acoustic mixer. A composition is obtained by mixing at least one oligomer A1, which is obtained by copolymerizing at least two monomers functionalized by diol functions with at least one second monomer, with at least one compound A2 having at least two boron ester functions. A composition is also obtained by mixing at least one lubricating oil with such a composition of associative and exchangeable polymers, and the use of this composition to lubricate a mechanical part.

For example, there can be a flexible coextruded pipe for providing a protective housing for cables, fluids, sludge or solids, the pipe comprising a pair of telescopically related inner and outer layers, where said inner layer is lubricated with the polymeric material mixture.

LUBRICATING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF OPERATING AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

The instant disclosure generally relates to lubricating compositions having an oil of lubricating viscosity, a mixture of boron-containing and boron-free dispersants, an overbased magnesium-based detergent, an overbased calcium-based detergent, a molybdenum-containing material, and, optionally, other performance additives. The instant lubricating compositions may improve one or more of cleanliness, TBN retention, fuel economy and low-speed preignition (“LSPI”).

GREASE COMPOSITION FOR BALL JOINT

An object is to provide a grease composition for a ball joint capable of reducing the starting torque, reducing the operating torque, and improving the low temperature property as compared with the related art. The grease composition for a ball joint according to the present invention contains a silicone oil as a base oil and an additive, and contains an amino-modified silicone and a modified polyolefin as the additive. The silicone oil preferably includes at least one of dimethyl silicone oil and phenyl-modified silicone oil.
