The present invention generally relates to lubricating oil compositions comprising a biobased base oil, methods of lubricating an engine with said lubricating oil compositions. Also disclosed is the use of said lubricating oil compositions in an engine.
Grease composition
Provided is a grease composition including a base oil (A) containing an alkyl naphthalene (A1) and an aliphatic diurea (B) represented by general formula (b1):
R.sup.1—NHCONH—R.sup.3—NHCONH—R.sup.2 (b1) (wherein, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently represent a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 9 to 20 carbon atoms, and R.sup.3 represents a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms), wherein a content of the aliphatic diurea (B) is 20 to 30% by mass based on a total amount of the grease composition.
Grease composition for constant velocity joints
A grease composition is intended primarily for use in constant velocity joints (CV joints), especially ball joints and/or tripod joints, which are used in the driveline of motor vehicles. The grease composition for use in constant velocity joints comprises at least one base oil, at least one thickener, zinc sulfide, as well as molybdenum disulfide and/or tungsten disulfide. Further, a constant velocity joint comprises the grease composition.
ELECTRICALLY-CONDUCTIVE LUBRICANT
This is to provide an electrically-conductive lubricant having characteristics in combination that it shows liquid crystallinity in a wide temperature range, retains low dynamic friction coefficient, has electrical-conductivity, has almost no loss due to evaporation, decomposition and the like, has a clean appearance, and emits fluorescence, and can find deterioration or leakage immediately.
This electrically-conductive lubricant comprises at least one kind of the compound (1) represented by the formula (1):
