Universal synthetic lubricant, method and product-by-process to replace the lost sulfur lubrication when using low-sulfur diesel fuels
A diesel fuel lubricant as a replacement for sulfur lubrication in Ultra-Low and Low Sulfur Diesel fuels, the process for producing said lubricant, and the method of using said lubricant. This lubricant comprises alpha-olefins; low odor aromatic solvents; and at least one a base oil selected from the base oil group consisting of hydroisomerized high base oils and HT Severe Hydro-cracked Base Oils; as well as other ingredients. Also disclosed is a method for producing this lubricant.
Oligomerization of alpha olefins using metallocene-SSA catalyst systems and use of the resultant polyalphaolefins to prepare lubricant blends
Methods for making alpha olefin oligomers and polyalphaolefins include a step of contacting a C.sub.4 to C.sub.20 alpha olefin monomer and a catalyst system containing a metallocene, a first activator comprising a solid oxide chemically-treated with an electron withdrawing anion, and a second activator comprising an organoaluminum compound. The alpha olefin oligomers and polyalphaolefins prepared with these catalyst systems can have a high viscosity index combined with a low pour point, making them particularly useful in lubricant compositions and as viscosity modifiers.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS INCLUDING LUBRICANTS FOR CONVEYANCE OF STOOL
Embodiments described herein relate to lubricating liquids and the application thereof to ostomy pouches. In some embodiments, an apparatus can include a container having an inner surface, and a lubricating liquid coated on the inner surface, between about 50 wt % and about 80 wt % of a primary lubricating oil, between about 0.01 wt % and about 2 wt % of an antioxidant, between about 0.1 wt % and about 10 wt % of a polymer, and between about 1 wt % and about 50 wt % of a secondary liquid, the secondary liquid configured to improve the solubility of the polymer in the primary lubricating oil. In some embodiments, the container includes an ostomy pouch. In some embodiments, the apparatus further includes a contact product disposed in the container and in contact with the lubricating liquid. In some embodiments, the contact product includes stool.
