The invention relates to a process for preparing an isolated oleosome composition with improved taste and the process is comprising the steps of subjecting an oleosome source to a roasting step and obtaining a roasted oleosome source, and subsequently isolating oleosomes from the roasted oleosome source, and obtaining the isolated oleosome composition. Finally, the invention relates to the use of a roasted oleosome source to improve taste and/or flavor of an isolated oleosome composition.

The present invention addresses to a hydrothermal liquefaction process capable of generating a liquid stream, rich in renewable molecules, with lower oxygen content, lower percentage of water and lower acidity compared to other products of thermochemical processes of biomass conversion. In order to effectively carry out this process, a catalyst was developed, obtained from the calcination of castor bean hull, to be used in the field of biofuels in order to provide an environmentally friendly alternative for the production of fuels.

An insulin secretion-promoting action of the pentadecanoic acid triglyceride at the time of elevated blood glucose level is discovered, and pharmaceuticals and health foods for improving blood glucose level and diabetes are provided using this triglyceride.
Microwave extraction of essential oils
A method of extracting an essential oil from plant matter, starting with providing plant matter to an interior of an extraction vessel, wherein the plant matter includes at least one essential oil. Next, at least one vacuum pump is used to reduce the pressure within the interior of the extraction vessel with the plant matter therein to an absolute pressure of less than 1.0 mm Hg absolute pressure. Microwave energy is applied to the plant matter while the interior of the extraction vessel is under the reduced pressure, thereby forming a vapor including at least a portion of the essential oil. The vapor is directed from the extraction vessel to at least one condenser vessel. Finally, the vapor is condensed to a liquid state such that the vapor includes at least a portion of the essential oil, by utilizing the at least one condenser vessel.

COLD PRESSING METHOD AND DEVICE IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD
The invention relates to a method for extracting oil from seeds or fruits of oilseed plants, comprising a pressing step and a step of separating the oily and solid fractions, wherein at least a part of the seeds or fruit is moistened prior to the pressing step. The invention also relates to a device for implementing said method.
