A SOAP BAR COMPOSITION FOR ENHANCED DELIVERY OF WATER SOLUBLE BENEFIT AGENT

This invention relates to a soap bar composition which provides enhanced delivery of water soluble skin benefit agents such that the desired activity of the benefit agent is observed for a long time post the wash. This is achieved by absorbing/coating the benefit agent on to specific clays followed by further coating with a hydrophobic material selected from wax or petrolatum.

DYE SCAVENGER AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF DYE SCAVENGER

A dye scavenger is provided that comprises a biodegradable hydrogel formed of at least one polymer chemically cross-linked by a cross-linker. The dye scavenger removes dyes rapidly, is prepared in an environmentally friendly manner, is reusable and biodegradable and can optionally incorporate other features of laundry compositions. The dye scavenger is useful for preventing dye transfer between fabrics in laundry and for removing dyes from waste water.

BAR SOAP WITH CORE ELEMENT

A bar soap with a composite structure that integrates a core element made of recyclable and/or biodegradable material surrounded by a layer of soap to maintain a sufficiently large size of the soap, allowing easy handling by users and offering users an eco-friendly product that prevents soap residues from contaminating the environment.

BAR SOAP ANCHORING CORE METHOD OF USE

A method of using a soap anchor to preserve the structural integrity of used bar soap includes affixing pieces of the used bar soap into depressions found in the top and/or bottom of the soap anchor. After using the pieces of bar soap, the soap anchor may be reused by affixing additional pieces of bar soap. Another method may be pressing solid soap pieces into anchoring structures on the top and bottom faces of a planar core, and pressing additional solid soap pieces into the anchoring structures as needed.

HOLLOW BATH AND HAND SOAP BAR SHELL WITH A HOLLOW INSERT OF NON-SOAP MATERIAL LOCATED WITHIN ITS CORE

A bath or hand soap bar shell is provided with a hollow insert of a different material is positioned within the core of the shell such that the hollow insert is fully buried in the soap material. This bath or hand soap bar shell substantially reduces a weight of the shell as compared to a solid soap bar so that when the shell is trashed without its full use the waste of the soap material is significantly minimized. In one embodiment, the bath or hand soap bar shell comprises a first soap portion formed from a first meltable soap material. The bath or hand soap bar shell further comprises a hollow core insert formed from a second material. The second material is different than the first meltable soap material. The bath or hand soap bar shell further comprises a second soap portion formed from the first meltable soap material, the second soap portion applied to the first soap portion such that the bath or hand soap bar shell fully encases the hollow core insert.

"CLICK TOGETHER" SOLID CLEANSING COMPOSITION

Methods and apparatus are provided for composite solid cleansing compositions to allow user-customizable solid cleansing compositions. The apparatus comprises a solid cleansing composition that includes at least one attachment module. The attachment module facilitates assembly of solid cleansing compositions into a composite solid cleansing composition. The methods relate to a manner of assembling a composite solid cleansing composition from component solid cleansing compositions, as well as producing component solid cleansing compositions to be incorporated into a composite solid cleansing composition.

Soap with dispersed articles producing light and/or sound

A soap bar has a solid or semi-solid matrix comprising a cleaning composition; and one or more articles positioned in the matrix. The articles include an electrical source, a light source or a sound emitting device, and a pair of electrodes in spaced apart relationship. The pair of electrodes are in electrical communication with the electrical source and the light source or sound emitting device. The light source emits light when a conductive material creates a current path between the pair of electrodes. The sound emitting device emits sound when a conductive material creates a current path between the pair of electrodes. A section of the matrix covers the pair of electrodes and prevents the conductive material from creating the current path until the section of the matrix is removed thereby uncovering the pair of electrodes. Also disclosed is a melt and pour soap bar formulation including a cleaning composition; and a plurality of dispersed articles comprising a light source or a sound emitting device. The formulation is solid below 120 F., and the formulation can be remelted and remolded.
