FABRIC TREATMENT COMPOSITIONS WITH ANTIOXIDANTS
Fabric treatment compositions that include a treatment adjunct material and certain phenol antioxidants. Process of treating fabrics that include at least one source of malodor by contacting the fabric with such fabric treatment compositions. Premix compositions that include certain phenol antioxidants, and methods of making treatment compositions that include such premixes.
PHENOLIC COMPOSITIONS FOR MALODOR REDUCTION
Disclosed herein are phenolic compositions and laundry care compositions comprising such phenolic compositions. The laundry care compositions may reduce malodor of fabrics or articles laundered with the same.
Stabilized compositions comprising leuco compounds
A composition comprising: (a) a leuco composition; and (b) a stabilizing amount of an antioxidant composition. The antioxidant composition comprises at least one sterically hindered phenol and at least one substituted diarylamine, and the mole ratio of the hindered phenol to the substituted diarylamine is greater than 1:1. In another embodiment, a composition comprises (a) a leuco composition and (b) an antioxidant composition; and optionally (c) a solvent composition. The combined mass of the leuco compounds and antioxidants present in the composition is 10% or more of the total mass of the composition, and (b) the molar ratio of antioxidants present in the composition to leuco compounds present in the composition is greater than 1:1.
JASMOL
The present invention relates to a composition for reducing malodor, preferably a musty and/or mouldy malodor, methods for producing such a composition and the use of such a composition. Furthermore, the present invention relates to preparations containing such a composition, methods for producing such preparations and their use. The composition comprises the combination of 2-benzylheptanol (jasmol) with a compound selected from (I) 3,5-di-ter-butyl-4-hydroxytoluol (BHT), (II) octadecyl di-ter-butyl-4-hydroxy-hydrocinnamate (Tinogard TS) and (III) pentaerythrityl tetra-di-ter-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate (Tinogard TT).
PARTICULATE LAUNDRY ADDITIVE
A composition including a plurality of particles. The plurality of particles include: about 25% to about 99% by weight water soluble carrier; and about 0.01% to 50% by weight antioxidant. The antioxidant is dispersed in a matrix of the water soluble carrier.
Leuco compounds and compositions comprising the same
A leuco compound comprises an antioxidant moiety covalently bonded to a leuco moiety. A laundry care composition comprises (a) at least one laundry care ingredient and (b) a leuco compound as described above. A method of treating a textile comprises the steps of (a) providing such a laundry care composition; (b) adding the laundry care composition to a liquid medium; (c) placing textile articles in the liquid medium; (d) optionally, rinsing the textile; and (e) drying the textile articles.
TREATMENT COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A SURFACTANT SYSTEM AND AN OLIGOAMINE
Treatment compositions that include a surfactant system and an oligoamine, the surfactant system including linear alkyl benzene sulfonate. Related methods of use and preparation of such compositions.
METHOD OF LAUNDERING FABRIC
A method of laundering fabric including the steps of: (a) contacting a detergent composition including linear alkylbenzene sulphonate detersive surfactant, C.sub.8-C.sub.24 alkyl sulphate detersive surfactant and phenolic antioxidant with water to form a wash liquor including from 50 ppm to 2000 ppm linear alkylbenzene sulphonate detersive surfactant and from 10 to 750 ppm C.sub.8-C.sub.24 alkyl sulphate, from 0.1 ppm to 200 ppm phenolic antioxidant and from 0.001 ppm to 10.0 ppm iron, and having a pH in the range of from greater than 7.0 to 12.0, and wherein the molar ratio of linear alkylbenzene sulphonate detersive surfactant to C.sub.8-C.sub.24 alkyl sulphate detersive surfactant present in the wash liquor is in the range of from 0.05 to 200; (b) contacting fabric with the wash liquor; and (c) laundering the fabric.
METHOD OF LAUNDERING FABRIC
A method of laundering fabric including the steps of: (a) contacting a detergent composition including: (i) detersive surfactant; (ii) phenolic antioxidant (iii) percarbonate; (iv) optionally, a bleach activator capable of forming C.sub.1-C.sub.11 alkyl substituted peroxycarboxylic acid; and (iv) hueing dye, with water to form a wash liquor including from 60 ppm to 2750 ppm detersive surfactant, from 0.1 ppm to 200 ppm phenolic antioxidant, from 10 ppm to 3000 ppm percarbonate, optionally from 2 ppm to 1000 ppm bleach activator, and from 0.005 to 500 pm hueing dye, and from 0.001 ppm to 10.0 ppm iron, and having a pH in the range of from greater than 7.0 to 12.0; (b) contacting fabric with the wash liquor; and (c) laundering the fabric.
Microplastic-free, opacified liquid laundry detergents
