Detergent composition comprising an inverse latex combining EDDS as sequestrant and a polyelectrolyte comprising AMPS and acrylamide

Detergent composition (F) for domestic or industrial use including, as thickener, a self-invertible inverse latex including an aqueous phase including: a) a crosslinked anionic polyelectrolyte (P) consisting of: at least one monomer unit derived from 2-methyl-2-[(1 -oxo-2-propenyl)amino]-1-propanesulfonic acid in free acid form or partially or totally salified form; —at least one monomer unit derived from at least one monomer chosen from the elements of the group consisting of acrylamide, N,N-dimethylacrylamide, ethacrylamide, N-isopropylacrylamide, N-tert-butylacrylamide; and at least one monomer unit derived from a polyethylenic crosslinking monomer (AR), b) ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid in trisodium salt form.

AQUEOUS SOLUTION CONTAINING COMBINATION OF COMPLEXING AGENTS

Aqueous formulation with a content of (A) and (B) in the range of 40% to 60%, containing

(A) a complexing agent selected from methylglycine diacetic acid (MGDA) that is at least partially neutralized with alkali metal, and at least one complexing agent other than MGDA selected from

(B) glutamic acid diacetic acid (GLDA) that is at least partially neutralized with alkali metal, and, optionally,

(C) a polymer being selected from polyamines, the N atoms being partially or fully substituted with CH.sub.2COOH groups, partially or fully neutralized with alkali metal cations, and, optionally,

(D) at least one alkali metal salt of an organic acid, said acid being selected from mono- and dicarboxylic acids,

wherein the weight ratio of complexing agent (A) to complexing agent (B) is in the range of from 10:1 to 1:10.

ACIDIC VISCOELASTIC SURFACTANT BASED CLEANING COMPOSITIONS

Acidic viscoelastic cleaning compositions are disclosed which use non polymer thickening agents. According to the invention, cleaning compositions have been developed using viscoelastic surfactants in acidic cleaning formulations. These provide the dual benefit of thickening as well as an additional cleaning, thereby improving performance. Applicants have also identified several pseudo linking agents which when, used with viscoelastic surfactants provide enhanced viscoelasticity and cleaning.

DETERGENT COMPOSITION COMPRISING A POLYMER THAT PERFORMS BOTH A CLEANING AND RINSING FUNCTION

Industrial 2-in-1 cleaning compositions providing both detergency and rinseability in a single cleaning composition comprising a polymer are disclosed. Alkali metal carbonate-based cleaning compositions and methods of both making and using the same provide user-friendly, solid, detergent compositions without the need for using a separate rinse aid composition. The compositions and methods are particularly well suited for use in industrial cleaning using alkali metal carbonate compositions that beneficially provide cleaning and rinseability in the rinse cycle.
