An object is to provide a hydrofluoroolefin-based or hydrochlorofluoroolefin-based azeotropic or azeotropic-like composition. The azeotropic or azeotropic-like composition contains trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and 1-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene. In the azeotropic or azeotropic-like composition, 1-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene exists in an effective amount to form an azeotropic or azeotropic-like mixture with trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene.

An azeotropic-like composition containing 2-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene and 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is provided. The azeotropic-like composition according to the present invention is non-flammable, has little influence on the environment, and has substantially the same composition ratio in the liquid phase and the gas phase. By use of an azeotropic-like composition according to the present invention, a washing detergent, a solvent, a silicone solvent, a foaming agent, a coolant, a heating medium for a heat pump, and a high temperature working fluid that are non-flammable, have little influence on the environment, and have substantially the same composition ratio in a liquid phase and a gas phase thereof may be provided.

It is an object to provide a new azeotropic or azeotropic-like composition comprising HCFC-142. The present disclosure provides, as its solution, an azeotropic or azeotropic-like composition comprising a refrigerant, wherein the refrigerant comprises 2-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane (HCFC-142) and at least one additional compound selected from the group consisting of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (HCO-1130(E)) and the like.

One of the problems is to provide a solvent composition which has a little adverse effect on the global environment and has excellent stability when a compound having a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) group is in a solution state. In an embodiment, the problem is solved by providing a solvent composition for dissolving a compound having a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) group includes Z-1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1223xd(Z)) as a main component.

A novel hydrochlorofluoroolefin-based composition contains Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, 1-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropane, and water. In the composition, the proportions of Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, 1-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropane, and water are 55.00 mass % to 99.98 mass %, 0.01 mass % to 44.99 mass %, and 0.01 mass % to 10.00 mass %, respectively, with respect to the total amount of Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, 1-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropane, and water.

The liquid composition has small impact on the global environment and exerts azeotrope-like properties. Therefore, the composition of the liquid composition is not substantially changed even when the liquid composition is used in an open system or used for a long period. The composition of the liquid composition is also rarely changed even when the liquid composition is recovered by distillation. Therefore, the liquid mixture according to the present invention can be used suitably as a cleaning agent (a solvent).
