Exosomes and their use as vaccine

The present invention provides exosomes isolated from an animal, wherein the animal (a) has overcome a disease caused by a pathogen, and (b) it is free from the pathogen that causes the diseases. The invention also provides process for obtaining these exosomes and the use thereof in therapy.

Bioreactor production of virus from adherent cells

Methods for producing viruses from adherent cells are provided. The methods include releasing virus from adherent host cells grown in a bioreactor, and purifying released virus by ultrafiltration and/or diafiltration. The methods can be used to manufacture viruses, including for clinical use, at reduced cost relative to conventional virus manufacturing methods.

ENVELOPED VIRUS VACCINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION

The present invention provides methods of production of a purified enveloped virus antigen. In particular, it provides purified Ross River Virus (RRV) antigens, and vaccines comprising purified, inactivated Ross River Virus (RRV) antigen.
