Apparatus with particle- or fiber-making device and an endless belt

An apparatus has a particle and/or fiber-making device and a foraminous endless belt extending in a longitudinal travel direction. A pair of horizontally spaced end rollers between which the belt is stretched horizontally receive fibers or particles from the device. A rotatable support roller between the end rollers directly engages and supports the belt, extends a full width of the belt, and has a diameter of less than 200 mm.

Compact Module for the Wet Spinning of Chemical Fibres

Compact module for wet spinning of chemical fibres of the type comprising a spinning head (F) of 2-8 tows (S), each one consisting of a plurality of continuous filaments, relative supply pumps (P) of the spinning solution, a coagulation tank (V) containing a coagulation solution, and a plurality of drive rollers (2) and respective idle diverter rollers (3) which determine a zigzag path of the tows (S) downstream of the spinning area, in the rectilinear lengths of which liquid-based treatments are carried out on said tows (S). The rectilinear lengths of said zigzag path are horizontal and said liquid-based treatments on the tows (S) are carried out in horizontal treatment trays (4) of the spillway type.

Method for producing a pleatable textile fabric with electrostatically charged fibers

A method for producing a pleatable textile object having electrostatically charged fibres, and to a pleatable textile object is described. At least two separate dies are used, one for the production of finer fibres and one for the production of coarser fibres, using a melt spinning process. At least the first die, which is used to produce the coarser fibres, has concentric orifices. The finer and coarser fibres are mixed at least in sections during the process and are also charged electrostatically with the aid of a polar liquid. The textile object can be used to make filters with a quality factor in excess of 0.2.

METHOD AND INSTALLATION FOR PRODUCING A TWISTED SYNTHETIC YARN

A method and an installation for producing a twisted synthetic yarn, comprising a spin-drawing installation configured to produce continuous filaments from a liquid plastics material or granular material by at least one spinneret and then to produce at least one yarn from at least two continuous filaments. A downstream treatment apparatus treats the at least one yarn which is transferred, without interruption, from the treatment apparatus to a downstream twisting/cabling apparatus via a collection and transport apparatus in a continuous process from the spin-drawing installation to the twisting/cabling apparatus. The collection and transport apparatus is configured to compensate for a difference in a production speed between the spin-drawing installation and the twisting/cabling apparatus.
