ELASTIC CLEANING LIP, SUPPORT ELEMENT, AND CLEANING UNIT
An elastic cleaning lip for cleaning a rotating roller of a drafting system of a textile machine includes a wiping edge configured at one longitudinal side of the cleaning lip. A mounting element is at an opposite longitudinal side of the cleaning lip and is configured to mount to a support element. The cleaning lip has a Y-shaped cross section having a stem and two essentially parallel legs, wherein the wiping edge is arranged at an end of the stem and the two legs form the mounting element for a form-locking mounting of the cleaning lip to the support element. The support element includes retainers at opposite longitudinal ends thereof and a mounting strip having lateral faces and top and bottom end faces arranged between the retainers. The lateral faces and the top end face are configured for the form-locking mounting with the cleaning lip.

Compacting Device for a Spinning Machine
The invention relates to a compacting device, comprising two suction drums (17), wherein a suction drum (17) in each case is associatable with a pair of delivery rollers (7, 8) of drafting unit (2) of a spinning machine, wherein the pair of delivery rollers (7, 8) is made up of a bottom delivery roller (7) and a top delivery roller (8); wherein the suction drums (17) are rotatably supported, via a bearing, on a shaft that is fastened to a carrier element (41); wherein a suction channel (31) extends within the carrier element (41), and wherein the suction drums (17) each have a drive element (40) which in the operating position forms a drive connection with the bottom delivery roller (7). The invention is characterized in that a protective shield (42) for preventing lap formation is situated on the axle (19) of the clamping rollers (18). The invention further relates to a protective shield (42) and a corresponding textile machine.
Device for cleaning roller surfaces of a drafting arrangement
A spinning preparation machine for processing a fiber material includes a drafting system that moves the fiber material in a direction of conveyance and includes a plurality of roller pairs arranged one after the other with upper rollers and lower rollers. Elongated stripping devices having a stripping edge are in contact with the upper rolls to remove dirt and other contaminants therefrom. A suction hood is mounted above the stripping devices and is connected to a vacuum source. Each stripping device is mounted in an individual respective suction channel, and the stripping edge of the stripping device protrudes through a first opening in the respective suction channel. Each suction channel is mounted on a bottom wall having openings therein and includes a second opening opposite the first opening that is aligned opposite from one of the openings in the bottom wall. The suction hood protrudes beyond the openings in the bottom wall and is mounted on a side of the bottom wall opposite the suction channels.
Device for Cleaning Roller Surfaces of a Drafting Arrangement
The invention relates to an apparatus on a spinning preparation machine having a drafting system (1) for processing a fiber material (G) which is moved by the drafting system in the direction of conveyance (F), including a plurality of roller pairs arranged one after the other with upper rollers and lower rollers (2, 3; 4, 5; 6, 7), having at least two elongated stripping devices (9) which are each in contact with one of the upper rolls (3, 5, 7) along their stripping edges (K) for removing dirt and other contaminants, and having a suction hood (AH) which is mounted above the stripping devices (9) and is connected to a vacuum source (U). To avoid accumulations of components that have been stripped off the rollers in the area of the stripping devices and to improve the suction effect, it is proposed that each stripping device (9) be mounted in its own suction channel (11, 12, 13), wherein the stripping edge (K) of the respective stripping device (9) protrudes beyond its suction channel in the area of a first opening (O1), and the individual suction channels are each mounted on a bottom wall (8) provided with openings (B1, B2, B3), wherein the respective suction channel (11, 12, 13) is provided with a second opening (O2) opposite the first opening (O1), this second opening being opposite one of the openings (B1, B2, B3) of the bottom wall (8), wherein the suction hood (AH) protrudes beyond the openings (B1, B2, B3) of the bottom wall and is mounted on the side of the bottom wall (8) which is opposite the suction channels (11, 12, 13).
