FABRIC TAPE FOR PRODUCING WEB MATERIAL, IN PARTICULAR FOR PRODUCING SPUNBONDED FABRIC
20180010267 · 2018-01-11 ·

A fabric belt on which, when used as intended in a machine for producing spunbonded fabric webs, such spunbonded fabric webs are formed and transported. The belt has longitudinal threads and transverse threads that bind with the longitudinal threads. The threads are formed substantially of a polymer material and some of the longitudinal and/or transverse threads include electrically conductive material. The longitudinal threads form, on the web material contact side, convex longitudinal thread offsets with a knuckle, and the transverse threads have first transverse threads which form, on the web material contact side, first transverse thread offsets with a knuckle. A height difference between the knuckle crowns of at least some of the convex longitudinal thread offsets and the knuckle crowns of at least some of the first convex transverse thread offsets on the web material contact side is less than 220 μm or even less than 150 μm.

WOVEN STRUCTURED FABRIC WITH CROSSING TWILL LINES
20230220591 · 2023-07-13 ·

A woven fabric for use in a machine to produce a fiber web, such as a tissue fiber web, has a paper side formed by interwoven warp yarns and weft yarns. The paper side has a plurality of twill lines formed by neighboring flotations of warp yarns. The twill lines have an MD vector component in a machine direction and a CD vector component in a cross machine direction. At least some twill lines are diagonal, with a CD vector component being unequal to zero. The diagonal twill lines include first diagonal twill lines with CD vector components that have an opposite sign to the CD vector components of second diagonal twill lines. A sum of all CD vector components of the first diagonal twill lines is substantially balanced with a sum of all CD vector components of the second diagonal twill lines.

A belt includes at least one fabric having a first face and a second face parallel to a longitudinal plane of the belt, wherein the fabric includes: a first weft layer formed by a plurality of multifilament weft yarns essentially parallel to each other; a second weft layer formed by a plurality of monofilament weft yarns essentially parallel to each other, wherein the multifilament weft yarns of the first weft layer are overlapped with respective monofilament weft yarns of the second weft layer; and a plurality of multifilament warp yarns wherein the fabric has a weft dominance satin weave on both sides.

Porous flexible woven belt

The invention relates to a flexible belt comprising a woven fabric. The woven fabric has approximately parallel straight sides and ends, where the ends are releasably or permanently securable to one another to form an endless loop. The woven fabric contains a set of warp yarns and a set of weft yarns. The set of warp warps are in a warp yarn direction and the warp yarns comprise monofilament warp yarns having a first denier. The set of weft yarns are in a weft yarn direction which is approximately perpendicular to the warp yarn direction. The weft yarns are in a repeating pattern of at least one monofilament weft yarn followed by at least one multifilament weft yarn. The monofilament weft yarn has a linear mass density of at least about 2,500 denier and at least about 5 times the denier of the monofilament warp yarn.

Transport or drive belt and weaving comb suitable for the production thereof

A transport or drive belt includes: warp threads extending in a longitudinal direction; and weft threads extending between side edges. The weft threads and the warp threads cross each other at least sectionally with a positive inclination or a negative inclination deviating from a right angle. The weft threads follow a wavy course.

Deflecting member for making fibrous structures

A deflection member that includes a reinforcing member and a plurality of tiles fastened to the reinforcing member.

Prepreg and producing method thereof

A prepreg according to the invention comprises: a raw yarn treated by a sizing agent; a thermoplastic resin material; and a thermosetting resin material; wherein the thermoplastic resin material coats at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the raw yarn, wherein the thermosetting resin material coats at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the thermoplastic resin material, or wherein the thermosetting resin material coats at least a part of the outer peripheral surface of the raw yarn, wherein the thermoplastic resin material coats at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the thermosetting resin material, and wherein the thermosetting resin material is polymerized by heating.

Fabric and belt containing it for shear stressing applications

A woven fabric comprising: a) A first layer of first uncrimped weft filaments; b) a second layer of second uncrimped weft filaments; wherein for each of the first uncrimped weft filaments there is one corresponding second uncrimped weft filament, and vice versa, to form successive filament pairs of first and second uncrimped weft filaments, c) crimped warp filaments having four different weave types c1-c4, but each weave type consisting of entwining around first uncrimped weft filaments; passing between first and second uncrimped weft filaments; entwining around second uncrimped weft filaments; and passing again between first and second uncrimped weft filaments; and d) uncrimped warp filaments passing between the first uncrimped weft filaments and the second uncrimped weft filaments of all filament pairs; wherein the fabric does not comprise crimped warp filaments which entwine around the first uncrimped weft filaments and the second uncrimped weft filaments in alternating manner. This fabric has good resistance to shear delamination and wear-and-tear delamination of an impregnation (11) impregnated into the fabric. Accordingly the fabric can be used in belts intended for applications wherein shear stress between the belt's top surface (9) and the belt's bottom surface (10) in the belt's longitudinal direction may occur.
