Spacer textile having tie yarns of one or more lengths

Aspects herein are directed to a spacer textile comprising a first layer, a second layer, and a plurality of tie yarns that interconnect the first layer and the second layer. The spacer textile further comprises one or more discrete areas from which the first layer is absent along with a portion of the length of the tie yarns in those areas.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A TEXTILE UPPER
20180000188 · 2018-01-04 ·

An article of footwear and a method of manufacturing the article of footwear are disclosed. The footwear may include an upper and a sole structure. The upper incorporates a textile element with edges that are joined together to define at least a portion of a void for receiving a foot. Various warp or weft knitting processes, including flat knitting, may be utilized to form the textile element.

EASILY SETTABLE STRETCH FABRICS INCLUDING LOW-MELT FIBER

The present invention provides an easy settable stretch fabric comprising three types of yarns: a rigid fiber, an elastic fiber, and a low-melt fiber, wherein the low-melt fiber comprises low-melt polymer which can be fused in the temperature between 60° C. to 200° C., being higher than the temperature used for normal textile process and household laundry, but lower than the temperature used for heat setting elastic fiber. The low-melt fiber can be selected from a group of fibers made from modified polyester, nylon, and polypropylene and the copolymer from them in the form of staple or filament.

Lightweight, permeable garment formed from monofilament yarns

Aspects herein relate to a knit textile or garment that comprises at least a first and second portion. The first portion comprises a first percentage by weight of a first yarn and a second yarn. The second portion comprises a second percentage by weight of the first yarn and the second yarn. The two portions are integrally knitted from each other. The second portions provide a high level of air permeability, while the first portions provide moisture wicking and may be used as modesty portions in garments.

Training tight with preconfigured compression zones and integrated structure patterns

A training tight having preconfigured compression zones with integrated knit structure patterns is provided herein. The compression zones may have differing compressive properties where zones having a higher compression force are located at the waist and thigh areas of the tight, and zones having a lower compression force are located at the knee and calf area of the tight. The integrated structure patterns modify the compressive properties of the zones in the areas where the patterns are located in order to further customize the compressive properties of the training tight.

Hemming-stitch-free warp-knitted elastic fabric and method for knitting thereof

The present invention discloses a hemming-stitch-free warp-knitted elastic fabric and a method for knitting thereof. The method includes: making a non-elastic yarn pass across a guide needle of the first guide bar and form the surface of the fabric by knitting via two needles or three needles in a 1×1 or 2×1 warp plain stitch loop mode, and making an elastic yarn pass across a guide needle of the second guide bar and form the inside of the fabric by knitting with the aforementioned non-elastic yarn in the same direction via three needles in a open double warp plain stitch loop mode, and two loops are continuously formed on each course of the open double warp plain stitch loop. The hemming-stitch-free warp-knitted fabric produced according to the present invention has good snagging grade, moderate horizontal straight tensile force and good resilience.

DOUBLE KNIT FABRIC
20230228013 · 2023-07-20 ·

A double-knit fabric containing a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and a plurality of stuffer yarns. The stuffer yarns are located between the first knit layer and the second knit layer. The double-knit fabric contains a plurality of anchored regions and a plurality of detached regions. In the anchored regions, the first and second fabric layers are knitted together and in the detached regions the first and second fabric layers are unattached. The average peak distance between the first and second fabric layers in the detached regions is at least about 3 mm and the double-knit fabric has between about 10 and 30 detached regions per square inch. The anchored regions contain at least two knit stitches in at least one direction and the anchored regions have a width of at least about 1 mm.

Textile component with embroidered emblem

A textile component may include a knitted component with a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and a pocket, where the pocket is located between the first knit layer and the second knit layer. A spacing element may be included, where the spacing element is located within the pocket. An embroidered element on an exterior surface of the first knit layer may be included, where the embroidered element extends through the first knit layer but does not extend through the second knit layer.

Knitted textile and method of forming

A knitted textile (2) having a first layer (4) including a first yarn (12) with a thermoplastic composition integrally formed with a second layer (6) including a second yarn (14), the first yarn (12) forming an array of knitted patterns (16) defining voids (8) through the first layer (4) to the second layer (6). The first layer (4) may be heat treated to form a film. (24). Treatment of the first layer (4) may change zonal and directional tensile properties of the knitted textile (2). The Poisson's ratio of the knitted textile (2) may be greater than or equal to zero in a first axis (32) and/or a second axis (30), before and/or after treatment. Articles of apparel, including articles of footwear (26) and garments incorporating the knitted textile (2), and methods of forming the knitted textiles (2) and articles are disclosed.
