CIRCULAR MACHINE FOR KNITTING, HOSIERY OR THE LIKE, WITH SINKER ACTUATION DEVICE
A circular machine for knitting, hosiery or the like, with sinker actuation device, comprising a needle cylinder; the needle cylinder has, on its lateral surface, a plurality of axial grooves, each of which accommodates a needle that can move on command along the corresponding axial groove in order to pick up at least one yarn dispensed at at least one feed or drop and form knitting; the machine also comprises needle actuation cams, which face the lateral surface of the needle cylinder and define paths that are extended around the axis of the needle cylinder and can be engaged by at least one heel of the needles, which protrudes from the lateral surface of the needle cylinder, in order to actuate the movement of the needles along the corresponding axial groove with respect to the needle cylinder as a consequence of the rotation of the needle cylinder about its own axis with respect to the needle actuation cams and the at least one feed.
OPEN-TYPE CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE FOR THE OPEN AND WIDTH-VARIABLE WEB PRODUCTION WITH A KNITTED FABRIC TAKE-DOWN AND/OR COLLECTING ASSEMBLY
An open-type knitting machine for the open and width-variable web production with a fabric take-down and/or collecting assembly, including a basement and a knitting head provided with a needle-holding element having a plurality of needles arranged around a central axis. A first active needle and a last active needle of the plurality delimit between them a dead zone of the needle-holding element without active needles, and an operating zone shaped as an arc of circle and provided with active needles for producing a partially tubular knitted fabric. A take-down and/or collecting assembly for the knitted fabric under production is arranged downstream from the knitting head with respect to a feeding direction of the knitted fabric. The knit-ting machine further comprises devices for adjusting the angular position of the take-down and/or collecting assembly with respect to the dead zone of the needle-holding element around the central axis.

Circular knitting machine and a method for moving the needles of a circular knitting machine
A circular knitting machine includes a needle-holding cylinder having plurality of longitudinal grooves housing plurality of needles, at least one yarn feed operatively associated to needles, actuating cams arranged around and movable relative to cylinder, drive chain for each needle operatively placed between needle and actuating cams. Drive chain includes: sub-needle, selector having butt which can be engaged with selector paths, selecting device acting, punch equipped with butt which can be engaged with punch paths. Punch paths include a tuck stitch ascent and drop stitch ascent for each yarn feed. Inlet of drop stitch ascent circumferentially precedes inlet of tuck stitch ascent. Selector paths include a single track defining first and second ascents placed in succession for each yarn feed. First ascent circumferentially precedes second and is operatively associated to drop stitch ascent and second ascent is operatively associated to tuck stitch ascent.
Sock with tab
Aspects herein are directed to a sock having an integrally knit, two-layered tab positioned interior to a collar of the sock, where the collar defines an opening for a wearer's foot. By positioning the tab interior to the collar, the tab can be used to assist the wearer in donning and/or doffing the sock by acting as the primary structure by which the wearer pulls an elastic collar around the wearer's foot when donning the sock.

PROCESS FOR REALIZING AN UPPER FOR SHOES AND AN UPPER FOR A SHOE
The process for realizing an upper for shoes consists of using at least a first and second group of needles of a needle-bearing cylinder of a circular knitting machine, each needle of said first group and of said second group of needles being used in a tuck stitch or loop position and/or in a plain drop stitch position and/or in a missed stitch position at least during the forward rotation of said needle-bearing cylinder, said at least first and second group of needles being used alternatively in said at least forward rotation of said needle-bearing cylinder so as to knit several yarns together without having to continuously cut them.
Machine for making an upper for a shoe and an upper for a shoe
The machine for making an upper for a shoe comprises a reel holder rack, a dial and a sinker crown, a needle cylinder with a vertical axis and forward and backward movement having a plurality of grooves, inside of which the (needles) are slidable, controlled by selection means thereof, a cup element, at least four feeders assembled along the circumference of the machine, guide means, first braking means, first recovery means for recovering each of the threads to be fed to said needles for forming the upper and a suction bell for unloading said upper, below said first braking means at least second braking means being present for braking or locking each thread for the formation of said upper during at least the first part of the return movement of said needle holder cylinder and second recovery means for recovering said thread from said cylinder, preventing its recovery by a reel of said reels, said second braking means being activated and deactivated by said second recovery means.
