Method of manufacturing a wet-laid nonwoven fabric
A method of manufacturing a wet-laid nonwoven web includes the following steps: feeding a pulp suspension onto a forming screen for depositing a fibrous web thereon, wherein the pulp suspension has industrially produced, inorganic fibers or fibers of synthetically produced polymers and the pulp suspension is substantially free from binders, such as chemical binders, and hydraulic consolidation of the fibrous web to generate the nonwoven web through water jet needling of the fibrous web.

MACHINE SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING RANDOM FIBER WEBS
A method of forming a random fiber web using pneumatic fiber feeding system is disclosed. The method includes providing a plurality of moveable apparatuses including a lickerin and a feeder, the lickerin configured to remove a plurality of fibers from a fibrous mat delivered to adjacent the lickerin by the feeder. The method also includes doffing the plurality of fibers from the lickerin at a doffing location within the system. The method also includes communicating an air supply to entrain the plurality of fibers with the air supply after the doffing. The method also includes controlling the air supply within a flow path between the lickerin and a collector. The method also includes collecting the plurality of fibers from the air supply on a collector to form the random fiber web.

AN ABSORBENT HYGIENIC ARTICLE FOR ABSORBING BODY FLUIDS
An absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids, the article including a liquid permeable topsheet, a backing layer and an absorbent core arranged between the topsheet and the backing layer, the topsheet and the backing layer being made from roll materials. The topsheet or an absorbent layer in the absorbent core is constituted by a cellulosic fibrous web, the fibres in the cellulosic fibrous web being constituted by a mixture of cellulose fibres including regenerated cellulose fibres or natural cellulose staple fibres and cellulose pulp fibres, the cellulosic fibrous web being a foam-formed, hydroentangled fibrous web.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAKING WET LAID NON WOVENS
Method for producing wet-laid non-woven fabrics, with which an aqueous suspension comprising fibres is laid down on a screen and is dewatered using suction boxes under the screen to form a sheet of non-woven web which is removed from the screen and guided to at least one subsequent treatment unit before the non-woven web can be wound, and transferring of the non-woven web from the screen to the at least one subsequent treatment unit and/or transferring of the non-woven web to interfaces between treatment units on the start of production and/or after an interruption in production, using a web feed, wherein web is fed via a temporarily closed draw of a free draw between the screen and the at least one subsequent treatment unit and/or of a free draw at an interface between treatment units, and the respective temporarily closed draw is produced via air flows, which lift off an end feeding strip as part of the running non-woven web by blowing, adhere same to a transport path device by generating negative pressure and lift up same at the following treatment unit by suction.

PULP FIBROUS ACCUMULATED SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PULP FIBROUS ACCUMULATED SHEET
Provided is a palp fibrous accumulated sheet including: a liquid permeable pulp fibrous accumulated layer containing a crushed pulp or base-fibers mainly including a crushed pulp, and a binder; and a plurality of fiber crimped parts formed by compression and pressurization, the fiber crimped parts being formed so that crushed pulp fibers each straddling the adjacent fiber crimped parts are present.
BATTERY CELL THERMAL RUNAWAY BARRIER
A thermal runaway barrier for at least significantly slowing down a thermal runaway event within a battery assembly. The thermal runaway barrier consisting essentially of a single-layer of a nonwoven fibrous thermal insulation comprising a fiber matrix of inorganic fibers, thermally insulative inorganic particles dispersed within the fiber matrix, and a binder dispersed within the fiber matrix so as to hold together the fiber matrix. An optional organic encapsulation layer may also be used to encapsulate the nonwoven fibrous thermal insulation.
AIR LAYING DEVICE
An air laying device for producing a fibrous mat at least partially from a plurality of fibers including at least one of a plurality of wood pulp fibers and a plurality of cellulose fibers, the air laying device including: a ring distributor including a fiber feed and a ring channel, the ring channel including an outlet element forming a section of the ring channel; and a calming channel extending in a downward direction toward a forming fabric, the section being arranged within the calming channel, the outlet element including a plurality of openings configured for being that through which the plurality of fibers supplied by the fiber feed exit from the ring channel into the calming channel and move to the forming fabric to form the fibrous mat on the forming fabric.
