SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING A MESH CUSHION
A method of making a mesh cushion. The method includes extruding a material through a plurality of filament forming openings in at least one die plate to form a plurality of filaments. The filaments may be at least partially submerged into a fluid to cool and harden the filaments into the mesh cushion.
Fatigue Resistant Layered Elastomer
A fatigue-resistant layered elastomer (3) which is extruded into the long linear structure by using thermoplastic polyester elastomer as raw materials, then is curled and bonded to form a layered body of a certain thickness. The contact parts of adjacent linear structures are fused together to form continuously bonded points (1) or intermittently bonded points (2), among which, the proportion of continuously bonded points (1) is over 20%. When the proportion of continuously bonded points (1) is greater than 20%, the hardness loss rate after fatigue-resistant cyclic compression is less than 23%. The larger the proportion of continuously bonded points (1), the better the cyclic compression durability. Therefore, by increasing the proportion of continuously bonded points (1) of layered elastomers (3), it enables us to obtain products with cyclic compression durability.
NET STRUCTURE MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND NET STRUCTURE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A net structure manufacturing apparatus (1) comprising: a nozzle (10) having a discharge hole (11) from which melted thermoplastic resin is extruded so as to be formed as a filament; a water tank (20) disposed below the nozzle (10); a conveying device (30) provided to the water tank (20) and configured to convey a net structure (60) having a resin as the filament (12); and a gas ejection device (40) provided to the water tank (20) and configured to eject gas.
Net-like structure having excellent low resilience characteristics
To provide a net-like structure having excellent low resilience characteristics, cushioning properties, and durability. The net-like structure has a three-dimensional random loop bonded structure constituted of a continuous linear body made of a thermoplastic elastomer having a fiber diameter of 0.1-3.0 mm and a styrene content of 10-40 mass %, the net-like structure having an apparent density of 0.005-0.30 g/cm.sup.3 and a 40 C. compression residual strain of less than or equal to 35%.

Device for manufacturing filament three-dimensional bonded member and method for manufacturing filament three-dimensional bonded member
In a device for manufacturing a filament three-dimensional bonded member includes: a molten filament supply device which supplies a plurality of molten filaments; a three-dimensional structure formation device which receives and then cools and solidifies the molten filaments so as to form a filament three-dimensional bonded member; and a controller which controls the molten filament supply device and the three-dimensional structure formation device, a hardness index measurement device is provided which measures the hardness index of the filament three-dimensional bonded member that is brought into a cooled state by the three-dimensional structure formation device, and the controller uses the information of the measurement of the hardness index measurement device that is fed back and thereby performs feedback control on at least one of the molten filament supply device and the three-dimensional structure formation device so as to reduce a variation in the hardness of the formed filament three-dimensional bonded member.
