A washing machine with movable auxiliary washing unit includes: a main washing machine body having an opening and a first main washing space communicated with the opening; and an auxiliary washing unit comprising a doorsets assembly configured over the opening to be pulled out or pushed in for opening or closing the opening, wherein the doorsets assembly further has an auxiliary washing space.

A door-lock for a home appliance is provided. The door-lock has a cam that cooperates with a hook and can rotate between two end positions and an intermediate hook holding position. A locking slider cooperates with the cam to lock it and an actuator-controlled locking pin can lock the locking slider. A switch is switchable between open and closed positions, respectively corresponding to the unlocking and locking positions of the locking pin. A cam support carries a trigger element and/or base plate and has a stop that locks the locking slider. A portion of the cam disengages the trigger element from the locking slider when the cam is in an end position opposite a hook release position. The locking slider can rotate beyond the cam locking position to push the locking pin toward the unlocking position with a protrusion when the trigger element is disengaged from the locking slider.

A door-lock for household appliances, comprising a casing (12) having an opening (14) for the insertion of a hook (15) carried by a door of said household appliance, a cam (16) rotatable relative to the casing (12) about a first axis (A) between a retaining position and a release position, wherein in the retaining position said cam (16) is adapted to lock said hook (15) in a closed door position, a locking slider (20) cooperating with said cam (16) and movable between an unlocking position and a locking position, wherein in the locking position the slider (20) locks the cam (16) in the retaining position, a locking pin (28) for locking the locking slider (20) in the locking position, a door sensing slider (32) movable between an open door position and a closed door position, the door sensing slider (32) having an abutment portion (36) including a top surface (38) and an inclined surface (40) and a door sensing pin (46) elastically biased against said abutment portion (36) of the door sensing slider (32), wherein in the open door position of the door sensing slider (32) the door sensing pin (46) is in contact with said top surface (38) and in the closed door position of the door sensing slider (32) the door sensing pin (46) is in contact with said inclined surface (40).

A garment processing device comprising: a cabinet; a door; a first hinge comprising a first shaft disposed on one of the cabinet or the door, and a first shaft containing portion disposed on the other of the cabinet or the door such that the first shaft is contained therein in an attachable/detachable manner; a second hinge comprising a second shaft coupled to the door so as to form a first axis of rotation together with the first shaft and a third shaft for rotatably fixing the second shaft to the cabinet; a third hinge comprising a fourth shaft disposed on one of the cabinet or the door so as to form a second axis of rotation together with the third shaft, and a fourth shaft containing portion disposed on the other of the cabinet or the door such that the fourth shaft is contained therein in an attachable/detachable manner.

A refrigerator equipped with a door that becomes transparent as necessary to make the interior thereof visible is disclosed. The refrigerator includes a cabinet having a storage compartment defined therein, a lighting device for illuminating the interior of the storage compartment, a door, which is hingedly coupled to the cabinet to open and close the storage compartment, and has an opening and a panel assembly including a front panel disposed on the front surface thereof, a sensor for detecting sound waves, which are generated by a knock input applied to the door and are transmitted through the front panel, and a controller for controlling the lighting device to allow light to be transmitted through the panel assembly, thus making the storage compartment visible from outside the door through the opening when a predetermined knock input is detected.

The present invention relates to a door and a home appliance including the door. More particularly, the present invention relates to a door including a see-through region and a home appliance comprising the door. According to one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a home appliance comprising: a cabinet; an object receiving chamber defined in the cabinet to receive an object therein; a door pivotally coupled to the cabinet to open and close the object receiving chamber, wherein the door has a see-through window; a lighting device for illuminating an interior of the object receiving chamber; a sensor disposed in the door for detecting an acoustic wave, wherein the acoustic wave is generated by an application of a knock input to the door; and a controller configured to activate the lighting device upon detecting the knock input, such that the object receiving chamber may be visible to an outside through the see-through window.
