A device for handling a clothes line, the device being mountable to a support, the device comprising: a body; a pulley mounted to the body for mounting the clothes line thereto; an elongated guide mountable substantially vertically to the support, the body being mounted to the guide and movable longitudinally therealong; and an actuating assembly operative for selectively moving the body along the guide and for selectively rotating the pulley to move the clothes line when the clothes line is also mounted to another pulley and looped around the two pulleys under tension.

The bracket comprises a first arm; and a second arm connected to the first arm at a vertex point such that the first and second arms extend from the vertex point to first and second mounting points of the first and second arms, respectively; wherein each of the first and second arms are configured to be mounted to a support structure at the first and second mounting points, respectively; wherein the first arm is configured to have a plurality of end terminals of respective strand sections connected thereto along a length of the first arm; and wherein the first arm is curved such that a convex surface of the first arm faces away from the second arm and such that the vertex point, the first mounting point and the second mounting point define a triangle in which an internal angle between a side of the triangle defined by the vertex point and the first mounting point, and a base of the triangle defined by the first and second mounting points is less than 90 degrees.

A bracket for a clothesline assembly, a clothesline assembly, and a method of fabricating a bracket for a clothesline assembly. The bracket comprises a first arm; and a second arm connected to the first arm at a vertex point such that the first and second arms extend from the vertex point to first and second mounting points of the first and second arms, respectively; wherein each of the first and second arms are configured to be mounted to a support structure at the first and second mounting points, respectively; wherein the first arm is configured to have a plurality of end terminals of respective strand sections connected thereto along a length of the first arm; and wherein the first arm is curved such that a convex surface of the first arm faces away from the second arm and such that the vertex point, the first mounting point and the second mounting point define a triangle in which an internal angle between a side of the triangle defined by the vertex point and the first mounting point, and a base of the triangle defined by the first and second mounting points is less than 90 degrees.

A clothing drying device including: a rope having a rope main body and a grip portion provided at the tip of the rope main body; a main body storing the rope so that the rope can be polled out to the outside; and a receiving member provided independently of the main body and having a receiving member main body and a hook portion protruding from the receiving member main body, wherein the hook portion has an inner surface having an arc cross section and a pair of first flat surfaces provided on both sides sandwiching the inner surface, and the rope main body can be hooked so as to straddle at least one of the pair of first flat surfaces, and the inner surface.

A drying apparatus for garments and linen, including a supporting element delimiting a containment internal volume and defines an access opening thereto, at least one drying rack element connected to the supporting element, a ventilation assembly associated with the supporting element. The drying apparatus is movable between an operating configuration and a non-operating configuration. In the operating configuration, the drying apparatus defines a drying volume, towards which the ventilation unit is configured to generate an air flow and in which at least one drying rack element is configured to support garments and linen. In the non-operating configuration, where the drying apparatus has minimum encumbrance, the drying apparatus disengages at least partially the drying volume and the at least one drying rack element lies internally to the internal volume.
