Multiple chamber innerduct structure
11201456 · 2021-12-14 · ·

A flexible innerduct structure having a first edge, a second edge, a first margin region, a second margin region, and a middle region. The middle region is located between the first and second margin regions. The innerduct structure comprises at least two flexible longitudinal tubes, each longitudinal tube forming two chambers. Each chamber is designed for enveloping at least one cable, where at least one of the longitudinal tubes extends from the first margin region to the second margin region, and wherein the tubes are attached together at an attachment in the middle region.

Wrappable textile sleeve having supplemental lace closure and method of construction thereof

A wrappable textile sleeve with closure system and method of construction is provided. The sleeve has a wall of interlaced yarn with opposite edges extending in a lengthwise direction along a longitudinal axis between opposite ends. The opposite edges are wrappable into overlapping relation with one another to form a tubular cavity. The wall has a first set of closed loops positioned adjacent one of the opposite edges and a second set of closed loops positioned adjacent the other of the opposite edges. At least one flexible lace is disposed through the closed loops in a zig-zag pattern, thereby extending back-and-forth between the first set of loops and the second set of loops. The flexible lace is slidable through the plurality of loops to facilitate drawing and maintaining the opposite edges in overlapping relation with one another.

[Problem to be solved] To provide a papermaking felt excellent in smoothness of a joined portion (no welded portion mark or base fabric mark is generated), and an efficient manufacturing method thereof.

[Solving means] A papermaking felt wherein, in at least one base fabric composed of a MD yarn material in the felt running direction (MD direction) and a CD yarn material in the felt crossing direction (CD direction) and having MD-direction end regions and CD-direction end regions, at least one of the MD-direction end regions and the CD-direction end regions are overlapped with each other, wherein said overlapped portion is welded without removing a part or all of the MD yarn material or the CD yarn material in said overlapped portion, and wherein, when the average thickness of the welded portion of each base fabric is x (mm) and the average thickness of each base fabric before welding is y (mm), the relationship between x and y of the at least one base fabric satisfies the following formula (1):

0.5≤x/y≤0.95   (1)
