Method for Manufacturing Protein Fiber, Method for Manufacturing Protein Fiber Fabric, and Shrink-Proofing Method for Protein Fiber
An object of the present invention is to provide a method capable of producing a protein fiber in which shrinkage at the time of first contact with moisture after production is more reliably suppressed and generation of crimp is also suppressed. A method for producing a protein fiber according to the present invention includes: a pre-shrinking step of shrinking a protein fibril in a relaxed state after drawing and before being wound; a winding step of winding the protein fibril subjected to the pre-shrinking step to obtain a wound product; and a post-shrinking step of shrinking the protein fibril subjected to the winding step in a relaxed state.
Coiled actuator system and method
A method of generating a coiled actuator fiber that includes twisting a fiber to generate a twisted fiber; wrapping the twisted fiber around a core yarn or fiber to generate a coil in the twisted fiber, which generates a coiled twisted fiber; setting the coiled twisted fiber by heat or chemical treatment; and removing at least a portion of the core yarn or fiber to generate a coiled actuator fiber.

Self-fused graphene fiber and method of preparing the same
Disclosed in the present disclosure are a self-fused graphene fiber and a method of preparing the same. Dried graphene oxide fibers are soaked in a solvent to swell and then the fibers are pulled out and coalesced. After being dried, the graphene oxide fibers are fused together, and then are further reduced to obtain a self-fused graphene fiber. The entire self-fusion process can be quickly finished within one minute without adding any additional binder. The operation is simple and time-saving. The process is environmentally friendly; the bond strength is high, and the excellent properties such as outstanding mechanical strength and electrical conductivity of the graphene fibers themselves can be maintained. The present disclosure has great research and application value for further preparation of two-dimensional graphene fabrics or three-dimensional network bulks with excellent performance.

Process for producing polyvinyl alcohol articles
The present invention provides a process for modifying the surface of a polyvinyl alcohol film or fabric by applying heat and pressure to the film or fabric to increase the moisture on the surface which is held by the fabric and to coalesce the surface fibers and reduce the porosity of the surface.
Method for Producing Protein Fiber, and Method for Shrinking Protein Fiber
The present invention relates to a method for producing a protein fiber, including a step of bringing a protein raw fiber containing a protein into contact with water vapor in a storing chamber in which a temperature is adjusted within a range of less than 120° C. to perform heat treatment of the protein raw fiber.
