An ink jet textile printing ink containing: water; a coloring material; a polymer X which is a water-soluble polymer with a weight-average molecular weight of 6,000 to 35,000, including at least one selected from the group consisting of a structural unit derived from alkylene glycol, a structural unit derived from vinyl alcohol, and the like; a solvent A which is a water-soluble organic solvent with a molecular weight of 160 or less, in which a ratio of the solvent A in all water-soluble organic solvents contained is 70 mass % or greater, a content of the polymer X is greater than 0.8 mass % and 7.0 mass % or less, and a content mass ratio [solvent A/polymer X] is 7.0 to 50.

The present disclosure provides an ink fluid set containing an aqueous pre-treatment composition, a clear ink, and colored aqueous inkjet inks. This ink fluid set is particularly suitable for printing on polyester, cotton, and blends of cotton and synthetic textiles.

An image forming method includes: preparing a fabric to which an aggregating agent is attached; applying an aqueous ink containing a pigment, a first resin, and water onto the fabric to which the aggregating agent is attached; and applying a coating liquid containing a second resin and water onto the applied aqueous ink, wherein the second resin is aggregated by the aggregating agent, a content of the second resin in the coating liquid is smaller than a content of the first resin in the aqueous ink, and an amount of the coating liquid attached to the fabric is larger than an amount of the aqueous ink attached to the fabric.

A fabric coating composition, comprising from 2 to 50 dry parts of a crosslinking polymer, from 5 to 60 dry parts of a polymeric binder; from 2 to 30 dry parts of pigment fixation agents, parts are based on total dry content of the coating composition; a pH control agent in an amount adjusted to have a pH above 7; and an aqueous liquid vehicle is described. The present invention related to a method of dyeing using the salt mixture as an electrolyte with 0.5 to 5.00 GPL of sodium chloride or sodium sulphate and alkali agents I and II to exhaust and fix the dyestuff to the cellulose material in the reactive dyeing wherein the fiber is treated with (i) the salt mixture with sodium chloride or sodium sulphate specifically, putting the pre-treated fiber maintained with pH between 3 and above and an (MLR) maintained between 1:20 and 1:3 at a temperature between 20° C. and above and exhausted for between 15 minutes and above, (ii) the alkali agent I with a pH between 9.5 and above at a temperature between 30° C. and above and stained for between 20 minutes and above (iii) the alkali agent II with a pH between 10.5 and above at a temperature between 30° C. and above and stained for 40 minutes and above.

A pretreatment liquid for water-based pigment textile printing is disclosed, which includes: 1 wt % to 30 wt % of aqueous non-ionic polyurethane; 1 wt % to 20 wt % of a metal salt; 0.1 wt % to 10 wt % of a melamine resin; and the balance being a solvent. A method for forming a pattern on a textile using the aforesaid pretreatment liquid is also disclosed.

A set of inkjet inks used for forming an image by application of an ink on a cloth is provided. The set includes an ink and a pre-processing fluid. The pre-processing fluid contains water, a compound that flocculates an anionic compound, and at least one emulsified sizing agent.
