There is provided a fiber body manufacturing apparatus including: an accumulating section that forms a web by accumulating a material containing fibers on a first transport belt by a dry method; a transport section that transports the web by peeling off a first surface of the web from the first transport belt, and by bringing a second surface of the web, which is a surface opposite to the first surface peeled off from the first transport belt, into contact with a second transport belt; a water-applying section that applies water toward the first surface of the web in a state where the web is in contact with the second transport belt; and a pressurizing section that pressurizes the web to which the water is applied and which is peeled off from the second transport belt.

A former section including a headbox, a felt, a wire, a forming roll having a suction zone and a forming section, and a gap section defined by the section between the headbox and a position where the felt and the wire are brought together at the forming roll. The headbox distributes a pulp slurry into the gap section to be sandwiched by the felt and the wire to form a paper sheet. A bottom side of the paper sheet contacts the felt and a top side of the paper sheet contacts the wire, and the sandwiched felt, paper sheet and wire wrap around the forming roll. A press roll forms a nip with the forming roll through which the paper sheet is carried by the felt and the wire, and the suction zone of the forming roll is arranged in a section around the nip.

There is also described a machine and a method for producing a tissue web using such a fabric.

Apparatus, methods, and fabrics for dewatering a nascent paper web, carried in a web sandwich, in a dewatering section of a papermaking machine. Water is driven from the web by a combination of mechanical pressure and compressed air, both typically applied in a nip. The mechanical pressure and air pressure can be applied in the same nip, or in separate nips, where the mechanical pressure is applied upstream, in the papermaking machine, from the air pressure application. The mechanical pressure can be lower than pressures used in conventional press sections of known papermaking machines. Air pressure is that pressure which can be contained in a seal section between the web sandwich and the structure supplying the air. Fabrics supporting the nascent paper web through the air dewatering station have limited lateral air flow under compressed air conditions, whereby air flows generally perpendicularly through the web being dewatered.

A front face of the wet blank transfer mold is provided with at least one recessed matching cavity that can be sleeved on an outside of a wet pulp blank product that is recessed toward the airtight air chamber, and the recessed matching cavity matches the product. An inner wall and a bottom of the recessed matching cavity are respectively provided with a plurality of small communicating holes. A back face of the wet blank transfer mold is connected to a moving frame through a guide mechanism. A driver connects between the back of the wet blank transfer mold and a moving frame which is provided with uniformly spaced vacuum cups.
