Elongated Component for a Manufacturing Machine of a Fibrous Cellulosic Web, Its Use and Method for Recycling
An elongated planar or profiled component for a manufacturing machine of a fibrous cellulosic web, such as paper, board or tissue web, is at least partially formed from a composite material having a continuous polymer matrix, and reinforcing inorganic fibers embedded in the continuous polymer matrix. The continuous polymer matrix is biodegradable and the reinforcing inorganic fibers are biodegradable glass fibers. A method is disclosed for recycling elongated planar and/or profiled components used for manufacture of a fibrous web.
Device and Method for Producing a Fibrous Web
A device and a method for producing a pulp web in which the first clothing and the second clothing are wrapped partly round the forming roll and another roll. The pulp web formed is guided between the forming roll and the other roll on the first clothing and the second clothing is guided separately from the first clothing, at least in one section. This enables the pulp web to be produced with low energy consumption and operating costs.

SEALING STRIP AND SEALING DEVICE
A sealing strip and a sealing device for sealing a negative-pressure zone of a suction roller for a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web, such as a paper, board or tissue machine. The stealing strip has an upper face, which forms a sealing surface of the sealing strip, and the sealing strip includes a sensor unit, which has a first temperature sensor at a first distance from the sealing surface and a second temperature sensor at a second distance from the sealing surface. The first distance is smaller than the second distance. The sealing strip is formed of a base material and a protective material which is different from the base material, and the sensor unit is embedded, in particular cast, into the protective material.

SUCTION ROLL WITH PATTERN OF THROUGH HOLES AND BLIND DRILLED HOLES THAT IMPROVES LAND DISTANCE
A cylindrical polymeric cover for an industrial roll includes a plurality of through holes and a plurality of blind drilled holes. The through holes and the blind drilled holes are arranged in a pattern in which: (a) the through holes are arranged in rows that define an oblique angle relative to a plane that is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the cover; (b) the through holes of one row are offset from the through holes of the adjacent row, with the offset between rows defining an angle of approximately 20-40 degrees; (c) the blind drilled holes are arranged in rows located between the rows of through holes; (d) the blind drilled holes of one row are offset slightly from the blind drilled holes of the adjacent row, with the offset between rows defining an angle similar to that defined by the through holes; and (e) each of the blind drilled holes is located at the substantial center of a triangle defined by the closest three through holes.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE CONTAMINATION OF A SUCTION ROLL OF A MACHINE FOR PRODUCING A FIBROUS WEB
A method and a suitable device determine the contamination of a suction roller of a machine for producing a fibrous web, in particular a paper, cardboard, tissue or pulp web. The method includes the steps of: a. flowing a fluid through a measurement area of a roller shell, wherein either the pressure or the throughflow speed of the fluid is kept constant; b. determining a characteristic variable, wherein the characteristic variable includes the resulting throughflow speed in the case of a throughflow at a constant pressure and of the resulting pressure drop in the case of the measurement at a constant throughflow speed; c. providing one or more reference variables; and d. determining a degree of contamination of the suction roller by way of comparison of the characteristic variable with the reference variable or variables.

PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF WEB-LIKE PAPER MATERIAL
Herein described is a plant for the production of web-like paper material comprising a forming equipment, which dispenses a paper material slurry on a support canvas, and a desiccating equipment, which is designed to desiccate the paper material slurry to form the web-like paper material. The desiccating equipment comprises at least one first rotary perforated cylinder and at least one second rotary perforated cylinder, on whose surface the paper material slurry conveyed by the support canvas dynamically adheres, and a heating system, which is designed to generate and deliver hot process air to at least one of the first rotary perforated cylinder and the second rotary perforated cylinder. The first rotary perforated cylinder is a cylinder operating under relative pressure conditions, wherein the hot process air is blown from inside the first rotary perforated cylinder towards the web-like paper material conveyed by the support canvas. The second perforated cylinder is a cylinder operating under relative vacuum conditions, wherein the hot process air is suctioned, through the second rotary perforated cylinder, from web-like paper material conveyed by the support canvas. A recovery circuit is designed for the recovery of the hot process air suctioned from the second rotary perforated cylinder and to deliver such hot process air to the first rotary perforated cylinder.
