Switch device
A switch device including a switch rail (12), the switch device having at least one stock rail (14), a junction rail (32) and a switch rail support (16), and the switch rail and the connecting rail being interconnected by a weld joint (34). The switch rail support (16) includes a through-opening (36) or a recess beneath the weld joint, the width of the through-opening or the recess being wider than the width of the switch rail (12). Furthermore, the length of the through-opening or the recess allows the junction rail (32) to connect to switch rails of the same or different lengths.
Switch device
A grooved rail switch device (10) having a switch rail (12), the switch device having a monobloc design and comprising at least one stock rail (14), a junction rail (18) and a switch rail support (23), and the switch rail (12) and the junction rail (18) being mechanically interconnected. The switch rail (12) and the junction rail (18) merge into each other by means of a joint (20) that is S-shaped in the horizontal section.
RAILWAY SWITCH WITH LUBRICIOUS LINER
A railway switch system includes a base plate that has an exterior surface and a movable elongate rail that has a mounting flange that has an exterior surface that faces the exterior surface of the base plate. The railway switch system includes a lubricious liner disposed between the base plate and the mounting flange and mounted in parallel engagement on top of a substrate that is one of: the exterior surface of the base plate, the exterior surface of the mounting flange, and an exterior surface of an intervening plate disposed between the base plate and the mounting flange. The lubricious liner has an exposed bearing surface, has a second width, extends continuously across the second width, and is substantially planar. The lubricious liner consists of a non-metallic graphite free material consisting of a blend of polymer resin, fibers and a lubricant.
ARRANGEMENT FOR HOLDING DOWN A RAIL
The invention relates to an arrangement for holding down a rail (14) having a rail foot (20), such as a stock rail, comprising a base (18), such as a slide chair plate, tongue roller plate or wheel guide plate, a plate element (16), such as a slide chair or counter bearing, detachably arranged on the base, a spring element (10) holding the plate element on the base, and a first and a second abutment for tensioning the spring element. To enable the rail to be held down with structurally simple measures and at the same time to achieve ease of maintenance and servicing, it is provided that the first abutment is a section (78) of the plate element (16) or extends therefrom, running in the region remote from the rail foot, in that the second abutment is an eccentric element (12) which preferably extends in the longitudinal direction of the rail (14) and is arranged rotatably in a receptacle (46) arranged between the rail foot (20) and the first abutment and starting from the base (18), and in that the spring element is designed to be supported on the rail foot (20).
