Monorail system
An aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a monorail system configured and arranged for displacing at least one maintenance device configured and arranged for machining substantially vertically extending surfaces. Another aspect is directed to a maintenance system consisting of at least one maintenance device which is displaceable on the monorail system.

Turnout and turnout assembly
A turnout includes a fixed beam, and a first and a second movable beams respectively on two opposite sides of the fixed beam. The fixed beam is arranged on a turnout platform. The first movable beam is movably arranged on the turnout platform between a first and a second positions. The second movable beam is movably arranged on the turnout platform between a third and a fourth positions. When the first movable beam is at the first position, the second movable beam is at the third position, the first movable beam is separated from the fixed beam, and the second movable beam and the fixed beam form a first passage; when the first movable beam is at the second position, the second movable beam is at the fourth position, the second movable beam is separated from the fixed beam, and the first movable beam and the fixed beam form a second passage.

RAIL-SWITCHING UNIT
A rail-switching unit, functioning singly or combined with other same units as part of a track-switching unit of a track-switching system of a vehicle-guiding system is provided. The rail-switching unit includes a rotatable ensemble including a rotatable-hub with attached switch-rails and auxiliary components and stationary elements including a main fixed-rail, branch fixed-rails and a supporting structure, wherein the branch fixed-rails are attached to common rails and the rotatable-hub selectively rotates to allow an engagement of each switch-rail simultaneously with the main fixed-rail and with a corresponding branch fixed-rail with a purpose of creating alternative continuous rail paths for vehicles to move through the rail-switching unit. A mechanism is applicable to mono/multi-railed tracks, to supporting/suspended vehicles, to traditional/rail-wrapping wheels-assemblies, to diverge/merge/cross-points, and to a wide variety of track-switching configurations.

Switch element for a track carrying a rubber-tyred vehicle, track switchgear made from said elements and method for transporting passengers along a rail provided with such switchgear
The disclosure relates to a flexible switch element for a track carrying rubber-tyred trains comprising two parallel rails each having an upper running surface for the tyres and an inner side surface for supporting a continuous strip (B) for guiding the train. The switch element has at least one hinge providing the longitudinal link with an adjacent switch element. The switch element also has a set of longitudinal abutments engaging, on the one hand, with the hinge in order to adjust the relative angular orientation of the element and, on the other hand, with a pivoting bottom rod providing the connection to and the alignment with an identical switch element arranged symmetrically on the opposite side of the switch. The disclosure also relates to a track switchgear comprising the assembly of such elements and a method for transporting passengers along a track provided with said track switchgear.
