Railway rail induction-welding device
A railway rail induction-welding device is provided which includes a device support and a railway rail alignment means for aligning opposing railway rails in three mutually perpendicular directions, the railway rail alignment means being supported by the device support. The railway rail alignment means includes first and second railway-rail clamping elements to horizontally and longitudinally align the opposing railway rails when gripped by the first and second railway-rail clamping elements, with at least one of the first and second railway-rail clamping elements being movably supported by the device support, and a vertical lifting means for moving each railway-rail clamping element vertically to align the opposing railway rails. A railway rail clamping and lifting module, a vehicle a railway rail induction-welding device, and a method of inductively welding opposing railway rails together are also provided.

Track maintenance machine and method for levelling a track
The invention relates to a mobile device for correction of a vertical position of a pre-measured track, in particular for a track maintenance machine, including a measuring system which comprises a moving chord as reference base, and including a lifting device for lifting the track to a target level prescribed at a work location by means of the moving chord. In this, the moving chord is defined at two reference locations as to its position relative to a non-corrected area of the track, wherein the work location is arranged behind the reference locations in a working direction. In this manner, the position of the moving chord is defined unambiguously and precisely at all times.

Transparent railroad railseat assembly
A railroad fastening system that includes a see-thru (transparent or translucent) rail seat assembly which allows for immediate visual feedback to assess whether that a sufficient amount of adhesive material has been applied to a crosstie during the installation of a rail seat assembly on a crosstie to ensure a long-lasting bond and a proper cant, flatness and height of a rail seat assembly.

Systems and methods for use in rail track corrections
Systems and methods for use in carrying out rail track corrections. A projector device is positioned on a vehicle deployed ahead of a rail maintenance vehicle and includes a Fresnel lens and a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged to provide a light beam that provides a uniform “spot.” The projector device modulates the light beam in such a manner that a pair of receiver receivers disposed on the rail maintenance vehicle can detect the light source and the light intensity and frequency of wavelength of light received into each receiver of a receiver pair is substantially equal. Recorded values may be used to triangulate the geometry of the section of track being worked, while a computer compares the previous section of track already corrected to the current section and makes calculations for desired corrections to be made at work heads on the rail maintenance vehicle.

TRACK MAINTENANCE MACHINE AND METHOD FOR STABILIZING A BALLAST BED
A track maintenance machine for stabilizing a ballast bed of a track after a tamping operation, includes a machine frame mobile on on-track undercarriages and a stabilizing unit which has rollers for gripping a track grid and a vibration generator for actuating the track grid with a vibration. A clearing device is disposed at both longitudinal sides of the track maintenance machine in front of the stabilizing unit with regard to a working direction. Each respective clearing device includes a clearing tool which can be lowered into the ballast bed to remove ballast from a respective sleeper-end region. Thus, preconditions are created by using the stabilizing unit to achieve an increased lowering of the track grid as compared to a normal stabilizing procedure. A method for operating a track maintenance machine is also provided.
