CORDLESS ELECTRICALLY-POWERED CONCRETE SCREED

A power unit is configured for use as part of a concrete screed and includes a frame and a powered drive. The frame includes a drive housing. The powered drive is operably supported by the drive housing and is configured to rotate a rotatable concrete forming drum. The powered drive includes an electric motor and a battery operably coupled to the electric motor and configured to power the electric motor. The powered drive includes a drive shaft drivingly connectable relative to the drum, with rotation of the drive shaft causing corresponding rotation of the drum.

A work machine includes a roller rotatably coupled with a chassis by a suspension and an actuator operatively coupled with the chassis and the suspension and adjustable to adjust the suspension and the roller to a first position wherein the roller is raised above an underlying ground surface with rearward and forward wheels contacting an underlying ground surface, a second position wherein the roller is in contact with the underlying ground surface with the rearward and forward wheels contacting the underlying ground surface, and a third position wherein the roller is in contact with the underlying ground surface with the rearward wheels contacting the underlying ground surface and the forward wheels raised above the underlying ground surface.

Roller tube concrete paver with retractable vibrator assembly

A roller tube concrete finishing machine includes retractable vibration gangs that can be selectively immersed within wet concrete and then retracted with parallelogram linkage. Spaced-apart, drive parallel rollers are journaled between frame ends for supporting and propelling the machine upon and between parallel form rails. A front roller provide a strike-off function. The vibration gangs are deployed by a retractable, parallelogram linkage that moves them forwardly and downwardly for operation, or which retracts the vibrators inwardly and upwardly relative to the frame. When the vibrators are retracted, the are withdrawn upwardly from the concrete and retracted rearwardly towards the machine front to reduce machine dimensions. Substantial retraction of the vibrators prevents subsequent interference with the rebar below. Vibrator retraction reduces overall machine dimensions for clearance and shipping purposes, with gang vibration arrays nested upwardly and inwardly proximate the front of the machine.

Power head for powered concrete roller screed

A power head for a powered concrete roller screed includes a handle and a driver housing at a distal end of the handle. A cordless, battery-operated driver is received in the driver housing. A head actuator includes a translatable link extending along the handle and an eccentric cam. The eccentric cam is operatively connected to the translatable link within the drive housing such that translation of the translation link imparts rotation of the eccentric cam about a rotational axis of the eccentric cam to an actuated position. The eccentric cam is adjacent a trigger of a cordless, battery-operated driver and is configured to depress the trigger when the eccentric cam is rotated about its rotational axis to the actuated position.
