Stake securing a landscaping edging strip

A stake consists of two planar panels joined on a longitudinal axis and angularly disposed with respect to one another. Lower portions of the panels converge to a tip on the axis, and an axial tang is formed at the top of the stake. An inwardly directed flange is formed near the top of each panel, the flanges being disposed substantially in a common plane, generally perpendicular to the panels. The flanges and the tang facilitate driving of the stake into a substrate by use of a power hammer, and the driven stake resists both upward and lateral displacement. It is especially adapted for the securement of edging for restraining paving and landscaping materials.

FOUNDATION SYSTEM

There is disclosed a foundation system made up of panels for supporting a load bearing surface on underlying ground in use. Each foundation panel has a panel body having a peripheral edge, first and second opposing major surfaces spaced by a depth dimension of the panel body, and a plurality of internal walls upstanding in the depth dimension so as to define a plurality of cells within the panel. Each cell of the panel is open at one of the first and second major surface and closed at the other of the first and second major surfaces. Connection formations are provided at the peripheral edge of the panel body, where the connection formations comprise a neck portion and a head portion. The head portion is configured to engage with a corresponding connection formation of one or more adjacent panel in use to resist separation of the foundation panel from an adjacent panel in a direction within a plane of the first or second major surface. A support surface may be assembled using multiple foundation panels, each connected to an adjacent panel.

TILE SYSTEMS

A tile, which may be a component of a modular flooring system, includes a plurality of cells on its underside, adjacent cells being interconnected to form two sets of channels parallel to the upper surface and open to the underside of the tile. The tile may have recesses in its upper surface, into which inserts can be pressed to form a decorative pattern. The channels may be used as ducting for cables under the floor surface. The cables can be held in place by clips that bridge between a pair of the cells. The cables may include a lighting cable, which can be arranged to transmit light to the upper surface of the tile through inserts that are translucent.

RETENTION SYSTEM FOR RETAINING MILLING DRUMS

A retention system for retaining a milling drum to a driveshaft of a milling assembly. The driveshaft is powered to drive the milling drum about an axis. The retention system includes a retention member coupled to the driveshaft between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the retention member restricts a disengagement between an engagement surface of the driveshaft and a mating surface of the milling drum, inhibiting a release of the milling drum from the driveshaft along the axis. In the second position, the retention member provides clearance for the disengagement of the engagement surface and the mating surface, facilitating the release of the milling drum from the driveshaft along the axis.
