CONCRETE MODULE WITH REINFORCING SHEET SHAPED TO PROVIDE ANCHORS
A module for a paving or building system includes at least one block of concrete and a sheet, e.g., sheet metal, having a surface area abutting the block or blocks. The sheet includes multiple openings and one or more flaps of material from one or more from the openings may be bent or otherwise shaped to extend into a concrete block and anchor the sheet to the concrete block.

Stake securing a landscaping edging strip
A stake consists of two planar panels joined on a longitudinal axis and angularly disposed with respect to one another. Lower portions of the panels converge to a tip on the axis, and an axial tang is formed at the top of the stake. An inwardly directed flange is formed near the top of each panel, the flanges being disposed substantially in a common plane, generally perpendicular to the panels. The flanges and the tang facilitate driving of the stake into a substrate by use of a power hammer, and the driven stake resists both upward and lateral displacement. It is especially adapted for the securement of edging for restraining paving and landscaping materials.
Smart modular street and sidewalk
A modular system for streets formed of a top module, a bottom module, an internal cavity formed within the bottom module, cables positioned within said bottom module, a computing device, sensors operatively associated with said computing device, and communications hardware configured to communicate information from said sensors to a second computing device positioned exterior to said modular system.
HARD PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR NATURAL GROUNDWATER RECHARGE
The disclosure discloses a hard pavement construction method for natural groundwater recharge, comprising the following steps: drilling to an underground shallow sand zone water storage layer on a flattened earth floor, filling holes with sand, inserting rod-shaped tools into the holes filled with the sand, pouring concrete to form a concrete foundation layer with a flat surface, removing the rod-shaped tools, filling the holes with the sand to be flush with a plane of the concrete foundation layer, sanding and compacting on the concrete foundation layer, directly arranging pavement bricks on a sand surface in an unbonded manner to form a hard pavement, and enabling rain and snow water on the hard pavement to pass through cracks of the pavement bricks, rapidly and naturally recharge to the underground shallow sand zone water storage layer via the holes and slowly permeate to an underground deep sand zone water storage layer.

Rubber Tire Roller
The present invention relates to a rubber tire roller for ground compaction, comprising a machine frame and an operating platform and front and rear undercarriages supporting the machine frame, wherein the undercarriages each comprise at least one wheel. A fundamental idea of the present invention lies in viewing indentations that are open to the side.
HIGH-FRICTION ROAD PATCH
A high-friction road patch may comprise an aggregate capable of providing sufficient friction between a road surface and vehicle wheel. In some embodiments, the patch may comprise a waterproof, asphalt overlay with a first layer of cured bitumen and calcined bauxite aggregate particles, a second layer of viscous bitumen and a reinforcement component, and a binder layer for bonding the overlay with the road surface. The resulting product may provide a sufficient skid resistance value in an overlay that is far less susceptible to or incapable of debonding as with prior art solutions.
GROUND STABILISATION PANEL
A ground stabilisation panel generally comprising a base layer adapted to locate on the ground, a plurality of first walls connected to the base layer, a plurality of second walls connected to the base layer, the second walls arranged relative to the first walls for intersecting with the first walls at a plurality of intersecting junctions, and a plurality of cavities each formed by the intersecting first and second walls and corresponding of the plurality of intersecting junctions. At least one of the plurality of cavities includes a retaining element connected to intersecting of the first and second walls at the corresponding intersection junction. The retaining element is adapted to retain a fill material located within the cavity.
Tool for forming a cavity in a modular pavement slab and method of fabricating pavement slabs
A form for forming a modular pavement slab with long and short cavities alternatingly formed around its periphery includes a header and a plurality of short and long forming tools. The header includes an inner vertical surface that defines a portion of the periphery of the modular pavement slab. The short forming tool includes an elongate body defining a longitudinal axis and having a proximal end positioned against the inner vertical surface of the header. The elongate body has a longitudinal bore therethrough and a riser bore defining an axis that is noncollinear to the longitudinal axis. A riser is releasably coupled to the riser bore. The long forming tool is substantially similar to the short forming tool. The elongate body, however, is longer than the short forming tool and includes two riser bores. A riser is releasably coupled to each respective riser bore.
