Down pressure plow system with float function
A down pressure plow system with a float function is disclosed for use in a vehicle. The plow system includes a plow frame assembly and a plow blade carried by the plow blade assembly. An actuator is configured to move the plow blade up and down. A down pressure linkage is coupled to the plow frame assembly. The down pressure linkage applies a downward force to the plow blade upon actuating the actuator to move the plow blade and simultaneously allows the plow blade to move upward upon an upward force being applied to the plow blade.
Scraping device for cleaning a roadway surface
The device includes two opposing lateral wings forming the right and left sides of the scraping device. Each wing includes an upper section through which the wing is attached to the central support about a vertical pivot axis, and a bottom section that is pivotable with respect to the upper section about a first horizontal pivot axis. Each wing can follow the unevenness of the roadway surface and may also include parts that can pivot backwards in case of a frontal impact with an obstacle. The scraping device offers a very high degree of versatility and can clean various kinds of roadway surfaces with an unprecedented level of efficiency.
Four Wheel Drive, Skid Steer Snow Vehicle with Snow Plow Blade
A snow plow is pivotally mounted to a tractor by a compound mount allowing for multiple blade positions. The mount has an inner portion pivotally mounted about a first horizontal axis to the front of the tractor and an outer portion pivotally mounted about a vertical axis to the inner portion. The plow blade is pivotally mounted about a second horizontal axis to the outer portion. Deicer nozzles spray liquid and a spreader distributes salt and other materials in front of the front wheels of the tractor.
HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR FOR A TRIP PLOW
A hydraulic actuator that can be used on trip plows to hold the trip blade in its operative downward position and to control the return of the trip blade after tripping. The actuator has a body with first and second ends. A piston rod reciprocates within the tube. A plate with a channel is positioned within the tube a spaced distance from the tube ends. The plate creates an oil reservoir between the plate and the piston rod. A reciprocating piston is positioned within the tube between the second end and the plate. A spring is mounted between the second end and the reciprocating piston and normally biases the reciprocating piston into engagement with the channel normally closing the channel. The piston rod moves in the direction of the plate when the trip blade hits an obstruction, forcing the oil through the channel moving the reciprocating piston and opening the channel allowing oil to flow into an oil chamber created between the reciprocating piston and the plate. The spring biases the reciprocating piston back to the normally closed position and forces the oil into the oil reservoir after the trip blade has cleared the obstruction.
SWEEPING BLADE DEVICE AND SWEEPING BLADE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
There is provided a sweeping blade assembly configured to be attached to a plow blade of a vehicle for sweeping debris on a ground surface. The sweeping blade assembly comprises: a blade support securable to the vehicle, a sweeping blade device, and a blade tilting control assembly. The sweeping blade device comprises: a blade main portion mounted to the blade support and tiltable about a pivoting axis. The blade tilting control assembly comprises a protruding abutment protruding from one of the blade supports and the blade main portion and an abutment receiving aperture defined in the other one of the blade support and the blade main portion. The abutment receiving aperture is delimited by an inner peripheral wall. The protruding abutment is engageable in the abutment receiving aperture and displaceable with respect to one another upon tilting of blade main portion about the pivoting axis with the inner peripheral wall of the abutment receiving aperture limiting the tilting of blade main portion. There is also provided a sweeping blade device and a snow plow comprising the sweeping blade assembly.
PLOW ASSEMBLY
A snow plow having a wing that is rotatably coupled to a side of a primary plow, and configured to rotate about a first axis substantially parallel to the side of the primary plow. A portion of the wing is operable to rotate about a second axis that is non-parallel to the first axis, where the portion is operable to rotate upward about the second axis relative to the ground in response to the wing encountering an obstruction. A snow plow having a receiver coupled to a surface of the primary plow and an actuator coupled to the receiver. The receiver allows the snow plow to move proximally and distally with respect to a vehicle.
BACK DRAG SYSTEM FOR PLOW TRIP BLADE
Embodiments of the innovation relate to a plow comprising a plow and a trip blade mechanism coupled to a plow body, the trip blade mechanism comprising a trip blade hingedly coupled to a base of the plow body and a blade return device coupled between the plow body and the trip blade. The plow comprises a back drag system coupled to the trip blade mechanism and configured to dispose the trip blade between a first plowing position relative to the plow body and a second back drag position relative to the plow body.
Frame assembly for supporting an implement on a vehicle
A frame assembly for supporting an implement on a vehicle includes a support frame attachable to the vehicle, a lever pivotable about a first axis between first and second positions, and a biasing assembly connecting the lever to the support frame. A first end of the biasing assembly is supported against the lever to pivot about a second pivot axis being parallel to the first pivot axis and being vertically spaced relative to the first pivot axis when the support frame is removably attached to the vehicle and the lever is in the first position. A second end of the biasing assembly is supported against the support frame to pivot about a third pivot axis when the lever pivots about the first pivot axis. The third pivot axis is parallel to and is spaced from the first pivot axis when the support frame is removably attached to the vehicle.
SNOWPLOW WITH POSITIVE RAKE ANGLE CUTTING BLADE AND ICE SCRAPER
A snowplow is presented and comprises a frame configured to be attached to a vehicle with a vehicle attachment for pushing the snowplow in a longitudinal direction, a main blade connected to a forward portion of the frame, the main blade including radius of curvature and at least one cutting blade disposed at a bottom portion of the main blade in a ground-contacting configuration disposed in a positive rake angle in substantial continuity with the radius of curvature of the main blade, the at least one cutting blade being pivotable about a pivot axis, wherein the pivot axis is located in front the main blade in an horizontal and transversal direction
