A snow plow apparatus including at least one pivotable plow wing that is capable of removing snow or debris adjacent to a vehicle. The pivotable plow wing is operable to deploy from a stowed configuration behind the vehicle to a deployed configuration where the plow wing substantially extends beyond a side of the vehicle and is in contact with a surface to be plowed to remove snow adjacent to the footprint of the vehicle. Once deployed, the pivotable wing is configurable to direct snow or debris away from or toward the vehicle by adjusting the angle of the plow wing relative to the direction of travel of the vehicle. The snow plow apparatus includes powered actuators and an electronic control unit that coordinate to operate the snow plow apparatus without the need for an operator to manually deploy, stow, or position the snow plow apparatus.

Pivoting snow-clearing trailer (1) intended to be towed by a towing vehicle (3) with a towing hitch (4), comprising: a chassis (5) extending longitudinally in a chassis direction (I-I) between a chassis anterior end (5a) and a chassis posterior end (5b), and developing transversely between a chassis first side (5c) and a chassis second side (5d) which are opposite one another, a snow-clearing blade (6) borne along the chassis first side (5c).

Detection means (10) are able to generate a presence signal when the snow-clearing trailer (1) is pivoted and when an object or an individual is stationed in an area (A1) to the side and/or an area (A2) to the rear of the chassis second side (5d).

Snow-clearing trailer (1) having a chassis (5) extending longitudinally in a chassis direction (I-I) and having a drawbar (9). Pivoting means (11) allow the selective pivoting movement of the chassis (5) and the drawbar (9) with respect to one another. A drawbar locking bar (12) of fixed length can be attached to the drawbar (9) and to the chassis (5) so as to immobilize the drawbar (9) on the chassis (5) in a transport position.

Detection means (13) generate an attachment signal when the drawbar locking bar (12) is attached to the drawbar (9) and to the chassis (5). Embodiments of the innovation relate to a plow comprising a plow and a trip blade mechanism coupled to a plow body, the trip blade mechanism comprising a trip blade hingedly coupled to a base of the plow body and a blade return device coupled between the plow body and the trip blade. The plow comprises a back drag system coupled to the trip blade mechanism and configured to dispose the trip blade between a first plowing position relative to the plow body and a second back drag position relative to the plow body.

A snowplow assembly for attachment to a vehicle, comprising a first plow blade assembly and a second plow blade assembly, connectable to each other by a hinge; a support assembly fixedly couplable to the first plow blade assembly; and wherein the first and second plow blade assemblies are configured to be angularly adjustable relative to at least a portion of the support assembly.
