Water service monitor assembly
A water service supply assembly includes a water supply line with a stop valve. A lid is supported relative to the stop valve. A first switch is adapted to detect movement of the lid and a second switch is adapted to detect if a body is moved relative to the stop valve.
LOCAKABLE MANHOLE COVERS AND METHODS FOR LOCKING A MANHOLE COVER
A lockable manhole cover incudes, for example, a manhole cover installable in an opening in a manhole frame, a locking member attached via a pin and slot arrangement beneath the manhole cover, and a lever pivotally attached to the manhole cover. A lower end portion of the lever is operably engageable with the locking member to move the locking member relative to the manhole cover. The lever is disposable in a lowered position so that an end portion of the locking member is operably engageable with a portion of the manhole frame for use in inhibiting removal of the lockable manhole cover from the manhole frame. The lever is disposable in a raised position so that the end portion of the locking member is operably disengageable with the portion of the manhole frame to allow removal or installation of the lockable manhole cover from or in the manhole frame.
Confined Space Entry Station
A confined space entry station is disclosed. The station has a back plate, an accessory holder, and a probe holding arm. The back plate is configured to attach to a manway of a confined space. The accessory holder is connected to the back plate. The probe holding arm has a connecting segment and a probe holding segment. The probe holding arm has a deployed position and a stored position. The connecting segment is connected to the probe holding segment. The probe holding segment is transverse to the connecting segment. The connecting segment is pivotally connected to the back plate and extends beyond the back plate when the probe holding arm is in the deployed position. The probe holding segment has a surface for supporting a probe. The probe holding segment extends transverse to the back plate when the probe holding arm is in the deployed position.
Methods of using dilution of a second type to calibrate one or more sensors
A system that includes a gas sensor, a fresh air flow controller, a sample flow controller, and a system controller. The fresh air flow controller is configured to deliver fresh air to the gas sensor. The sample flow controller is configured to deliver a sample to the gas sensor. The system controller has a processor connected to memory storing instructions that are executable by the processor. When executed, the instructions cause the processor to determine an intermix ratio of the sample to the fresh air, instruct the fresh air flow controller and the sample flow controller to deliver the fresh air and the sample, respectively, to the gas sensor in accordance with the intermix ratio, and receive a sensor reading from the gas sensor after the fresh air flow controller and the sample flow controller have adjusted the fresh air and the sample, respectively.
Bracket Attached to a Stainless Steel Anchor For a Compression-Molded Composite Manhole Cover
A custom U-Bracket bolted into a threaded, fastening stainless steel expanding anchor affixed to molded-in attachment holes on a compression-molded, thermoset composite manhole cover to attach, house and protect a sensor, transmitter, and battery pack completely surrounded by the composite cover’s structurally reinforcing ribs.
Reinforcement member and construction method
Provided are a reinforcing member and a construction method capable of easily securing a side wall contact height even in the case where installed equipment is provided on a side wall. A reinforcing member according to the present invention is a reinforcing member which reinforces a manhole by being fixed to the manhole in a state in which at least part of the reinforcing member is in contact with a side wall inner surface of an inner surface of the manhole, an insertion hole into which an anchor bolt provided to protrude from the inner surface of the manhole can be inserted is formed, and the insertion hole is an elongated hole which allows the reinforcing member to move relative to the anchor bolt in an inserted state in which the anchor bolt is inserted into the insertion hole and an unfixed state in which the reinforcing member is not fixed to the manhole.
RESIN CONTAINER AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Provided are a resin container and a wireless communication system with which it is possible to efficiently manage the state of a wireless communication device installed in an underground space. A resin container 5 for accommodating cables such as a communication line 6 and an electric power line 7 comprises a container body 52 having an opening 51 that opens upward, a lid for closing off the opening 51, and a wireless tag 3 serving as an information processing device positioned in the lid 53 or the container body 52 and capable of wirelessly communicating with a terminal 40 serving as an external apparatus. The wireless tag 3: acquires, from a wireless communication device 2 positioned in the inside of the container body 52, information that relates to the maintenance of the wireless communication device 2; holds said information; and transmits said information relating to the maintenance to the terminal 40.
MODULAR ACCESS COVER
Embodiments generally relate to modular access covers. Example embodiments relate to an access cover assembly comprising: a first set of modular access covers and a second set of modular access covers, wherein in each set, adjacent covers are coupled; and a support frame comprising end frame pieces, side frame pieces, wall boxes, and a support beam. The end frame pieces and side frame pieces define a support plane to support the first and second sets of modular access covers. The wall boxes define a support surface to support the support beam and the end frame pieces, and the support surface is offset from the support plane and the wall boxes are connected to the end frame pieces and receive respective ends of the support beam.
SECURED SERVICE COVER ASSEMBLY
A service cover assembly with a locking mechanism is provided. The assembly includes a cover plate with a first and second side, and a through-hole connecting the two sides. A main cylinder with a hollow interior is attached at a first end to the first side of the cover plate and is positioned to align the hollow interior with the through-hole. A pinion gear system is located at a second end of the main cylinder. A plurality of securing rod is provided, each rod positionable in a secured or unsecured position with the pinion gear system. At least one access barrier is disposed within the main cylinder and/or the pinion gear system to restrict access and/or operation of the pinion gear system. One of the at least one access barrier is a lock disposed within the hollow interior of the main cylinder.
System and method of monitoring a utility structure
A system for monitoring a structures containing utility components is provided. The system includes a sensing devices, each being disposed within a structure and distributed within a geographic region, each of the sensing devices measuring parameters within the structure. A display is coupled to the sensing devices and is positioned remotely therefrom. One or more processors communicate with the sensing devices and the display.
