SAMPLE COLLECTING METHOD AND SAMPLE COLLECTING SYSTEM
20230121872 · 2023-04-20 ·

Provided is a sample collecting method for collecting a sample of soil at a predetermined depth by excavation on an extraterrestrial body or the earth. The method comprises forming a first borehole 70 that reaches a first depth from a land surface 69 by preliminary excavation of soil, the first depth being less than a predetermine sampling depth from the land surface 69; and forming a second borehole 73 that has a smaller opening than the first borehole and reaches a second depth from the land surface by further excavation of soil in the first borehole, the second depth being equal to or greater than the sampling depth, wherein, while forming the second borehole 73, part of soil present at the sampling depth in the second borehole 73 is transferred to the land surface 69 as a sample for analysis.

Earth auger

The disclosure provides an earth auger comprising a supporting assembly, a drill pipe assembly including a drill pipe, a driving assembly arranged on the supporting assembly to drive the drill pipe assembly to work and a brake assembly including a trigger component that brakes the driving assembly and a brake lever connected through a first pivot and matched with the trigger component. The projection part of the brake lever on the plane perpendicular to the axis of the drill pipe is located outside the projection of the supporting assembly on the plane perpendicular to the axis of the drill pipe. The earth auger provided by the disclosure can effectively prevent accidents and improve the safety performance of the earth auger.

Earth auger and pole machine, and pole installation method

Described herein is an earth auger and pole machine for automated installation of poles in earth banks of access roads to open-pit mines. The earth auger and pole machine is fitted with a mechanic boom comprised of a first link and a second link. The first link has an end attached to a base fixed to a conveyor vehicle, and the other end coupled to the second link. The second link comprises a magazine for loading the poles, an auger system to drill the ground, and an installer to place the poles into the hole. This document also describes a method for installing poles in sequence by using the earth auger and pole machine.

Post driving implement

Disclosed embodiments include post driving implements which attach to a power machine such as a loader in order to pick up posts of various sizes and materials and/or to drive the posts into the ground. In some exemplary disclosed embodiments, the post driving implement allows a post to be picked up when positioned inline with a direction of power machine travel and allows the post to rotate under the force of gravity to a second position in which the post is inline with a pounding mechanism for pounding the post into the ground. Catch mechanisms can be included to capture a portion of the implement to maintain the post in the second position until a release action is taken or a release command is given.
