A hydraulic valve block configured to specifically control an operation of a clam actuator of a face shovel bucket of a face shovel machine is disclosed. The hydraulic valve block comprises a first inlet, a second inlet, a first outlet connected to the first inlet via a first line and a second outlet connected to the second inlet via a second line. The hydraulic valve block further comprises a two port two position directional control valve interconnected between the first line and the second line, a first pressure relief valve interconnected between the first line and the second line and arranged in series with the two port two position directional control valve, and a second pressure relief valve interconnected between the first line and the second line and arranged in parallel to the first pressure relief valve and the two port two position directional control valve.

An attachment for a bucket of a loader, where the bucket includes a bottom wall and a blade extending across an outer surface thereof, features clamping and retaining mechanisms. The clamping mechanism comprises a first clamping surface arranged for engagement with an inner surface of the bottom wall and an opposing second clamping surface arranged for engagement with a bottom surface of the blade. The retaining mechanism comprises a recessed portion longitudinally spaced from the clamping surfaces and an adjustable abutting element in opposite relation to the recessed portion such that the clamping surfaces are located therebetween. The abutting element includes two contact surfaces which are respectively positionable so as to define an abutting surface arranged for butting engagement with a rear surface of the blade. Each working position of the abutting element is suited for retaining a particular width of blade between same and the recessed portion.

A powered conveying surface bucket assembly for attachment to a vehicle, includes a bucket assembly; a conveyor system that extends at least a portion of a width of a bucket bottom wall of the bucket assembly; and a power system connected to the conveyor system to rotate the conveyor system with respect to the bucket bottom wall.

An accessory for an excavator is presented wherein the excavator has a bucket with an opening and a moveable thumb on the opposite of the bucket opening. The accessory comprises a plate sized to cover at least a portion of the opening of the bucket and a socket for receiving the thumb to attach the plate to the thumb thereby allowing said plate to move with the thumb. Operation of the thumb causes the plate to cover or uncover the portion of the opening of the bucket.
