Implement for Grading Roads
20220372728 · 2022-11-24 ·

A road drag implement includes a frame, a hitch assembly, rear wheels and a two grading blades. The frame is supported by the rear wheels and the hitch assembly. The rear wheels and the hitch assembly have articulating support structures that are able to be controllably positioned between a raised transport positions and lowered working positions. A first blade assembly and a second blade assembly are pivotably mounted to the frame. The first blade assembly is in a forward position on the right side of the frame and the second blade assembly is behind the first blade assembly on the left side of the frame. Actuators connect between the frame and each respective blade assembly which are able rotate the blade assemblies between a first retracted position for transport and a second extended position for road work.

Wide-Scale Single-Pass Road Grader Implement with Deployable/Stowable Blade-Carrying Frame Sections and On-Board Dust Suppression System
20170328028 · 2017-11-16 ·

A grading implement features a frame with at least one movable section carried by a main frame section. Each movable section is movable relative thereto between a storage position and a working position reaching further laterally outward from the main section to increase a working width of the implement. An underside of each movable section features a respective blade adjustably mounted thereto for selective adjustment between different relative blade positions relative to the movable section. One embodiment features outboard blades on two movable sections, inboard blades on another two movable sections, and a rear blade mounted centrally on the main section behind the inboard and outboard blades. A dust suppression system features spray nozzles distributed across the main frame section behind the blades, and storage tanks mounted atop the main section so that weight of the dust suppression agent provides extra downforce to the blades.

Work machines and methods and systems to control and determine a position of an associated implement

Work machines and methods and systems to control and determine a position of an associated implement are disclosed. An example work machine including a first vehicle component movable relative to a second vehicle component; and a processor to: cause the first vehicle component to move toward a commanded position; predict a first position of the first vehicle component of the work machine using first processes; determine a second position of the first vehicle component using second processes; and in response to a difference between the first position and the second position, to cause the first vehicle component to move further toward the commanded position to correct for the difference.

Side snowplow including land leveler

A side snowplow including a land leveler, comprising: a rear mounted seat, a hydraulic cylinder I, a pull rod, a snow-pushing board, an oscillating rod, a hydraulic cylinder II, and a front mounted seat. The rear mounted seat is fixed on a rear portion of a rear rack of the land leveler and connected to the pull rod; the hydraulic cylinder I is hingedly connected to the rear mounted seat, and the pull rod; and the snow-pushing board is positioned at a left side or a right side of the land leveler and inclines toward a direction that the land leveler moves, a rear end of the snow-pushing board being connected to the hinge plate II, a front end of the snow-pushing board being connected to the hinge plate III.

Apparatus with divergent V-wing blade configuration

An apparatus features front blade sections fixed to the frame in a V-configuration, and a pull tongue extending over the blade apex to a pivotal connection near a rear of the frame. An actuation mechanism effects relative pivoting between the frame and the pull tongue to adjust an angle between the front blade and the trailer tongue to control a position of the blade apex. Two rear blade sections on opposing sides of the frame are movable between deployed positions extending rearwardly and laterally outward from the front blade sections, and stowed positions elevated out of the deployed positions. The rear blade sections are movable downwardly past a plane in which they align with the front blade sections, thus enabling different working operations.
