A working vehicle includes a drive unit having inverters, AC motors, hydraulic pumps, a battery, a controller, a battery management system, a switch, an electromagnetic contactor, and a display unit, and the switch is signal-connected to the controller, a stop signal is transmitted to the controller when the switch is turned off, and the controller performs stop control in which the AC motors are operated during a term to thereby set a residual voltage to be lower than a predetermined set voltage.

CONTROL OF ACCESS TO POWER MACHINE FUNCTIONALITY
20230042126 · 2023-02-09 ·

A control system of a power machine can be configured to allow certain power machine functionality based on a wireless connection with a mobile device. For example, a power machine can operate in a startup mode providing limited functionality to an operator (e.g., engine power, but no workgroup actuators). Access to additional power machine functionality (e.g., full functionality) can then be permitted based on establishing a wireless connection to a mobile device that corresponds to an operator profile for the power machine.

MOTOR CONTROL FOR ELECTRICALLY POWERED POWER MACHINE
20230228060 · 2023-07-20 ·

A power machine can include a frame, a lift arm, and one or more electrical devices for control of one or more work elements. The electrical devices can be controlled to improve positional accuracy for work elements during work operations, to improve power management and customer experience (e.g., to provide smoother ride during drive operations), and to provide float functionality for work elements.

CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND CONSTRUCTION MACHINES
20230095430 · 2023-03-30 · ·

A method for managing state of charge of a battery of an electric work vehicle to be ready to return to work at a return to work time that coincides with an end of a duration of immobilization. A charge mode is selected via a user interface. An initial state of charge of the battery and a target operational state of charge of the battery are used to calculate a targeted charge increase. A charge cycle comprising a charge rate is selected based on the charge mode and the targeted charge increase. A charging start time is calculated such that at the return to work time an actual state of charge of the battery corresponds to the target operational state of charge. The temperature of the battery is adjusted to be a target temperature at the charging start time. The charge cycle is started at the charging start time.

Method to decouple engine speed from hydraulic pump speed through an electric motor driven variator
11572672 · 2023-02-07 · ·

A work machine includes an engine for driving a primary working unit. At least one hydraulically powered auxiliary working unit is powered by a hydraulic pump. The engine and an electric motor both provide power to the hydraulic pump via a planetary gear set which sums the power inputs from the engine and the electric motor. The pump speed of the hydraulic pump is thereby decoupled from the engine speed of the engine.
