Inverted Plunger
20220396943 · 2022-12-15 ·

An inverted plunger for unclogging pipes or toilets is described. The proposed inverted plunger does not have any openings filled with air, at the stretchable elastic bottom part, unlike all plungers described in the prior art. The proposed inverted plunger is equipped with the internal piston, that allows the pressure application to the narrower part of the stretchable bottom, leading to direct pressure from the stretched material to the liquid inside the pipe, avoiding the air-to-liquid pressure utilized in regular plungers. Using the electric motor in the proposed inverted plunger leads to the increased efficiency and to the easy use by the operator.

A toilet apparatus comprising a toilet bowl with a drain passageway, and a mounting support base, a wax ring having a central opening disposed below the mounting support base, the wax ring is supported on an annular clog saver plate member having a central opening with an annular wall portion, a mounting flange plate supporting the annular clog saver plate member with an extending portion for sealing a sewer passageway. The annular wall portion includes a plurality of clog saver fins attached thereto. These clog saver fins are used to catch non-passable feminine hygiene items, disposable pampers, packaging, and clothing to prevent a sewer blockage, and removal therefrom without removing the toilet bowl, while allowing passable feminine hygiene items, fluid, tissue, toilet liners, and waste material to pass through the central openings in the wax ring, clog saver plate member and mounting flange plate, and into the sewer passageway.

FOG SENSOR FOR TAILPIPES

An apparatus senses the proportion of FOG flowing with effluent from a sink to a p-trap. A pipe portion is connectable for use as a tailpipe for a sink with a first electrode within the pipe portion and a second electrode outside the pipe portion. Conductors connect the first and second electrodes to a capacitance sensor, so changes in capacitance between the electrodes caused by changes in proportions of FOG content in effluent from the sink can be detected and/or monitored. The monitoring can be remote and can cause an action when an excess FOG content is detected.

This safety clean-out cap system provides for the removal of water and debris from drains. It consists of a flow channel that is mounted within the opening of a clean-out cap. The flow channel is diametrically opposed to the top surface of the clean-out cap and bends at a 90-degree angle just below a rectangular recess. The rectangular recess has a grab portion that cooperatively receives a tool. Additional embodiments of the safety clean-out cap system include clean-out caps having channel extensions and a square-shaped channel. The channel extensions extend at a 180-degree angle from the clean-out cap and have a plurality of longitudinal rails and longitudinal plates that further facilitate the removal of the clean-out cap from drainpipes. The clean-out cap and the additional embodiments are attached to fittings, pipe sections and hose sections in order to regulate the flow of water and debris from a drain.
