BUILDING SKIRTING BASE
A mobile home skirting base comprising: a horizontal surface; and two vertical members co-extruded with the horizontal surface forming a channel to insert a mobile home skirting panel wherein a height of one of the vertical members is greater than a height of another one of the vertical members. One of the vertical members also comprises a hook-shaped retention edge. The mobile home skirting base allows the mobile home skirting base to provide strong support, stabilization, and protection of the skirting panels.
Skirt panel system for a post-frame building and methods thereof
The present disclosure provides skirt panel systems for a post-frame building, comprising: one or more precast skirt panels, each of the precast skirt panels having an outer surface to be oriented away from the interior of the post-frame building, an inner surface to be oriented towards the interior of the post-frame building, a top, a bottom, and two opposing ends, each of the precast skirt panels configured for attachment to at least one post of the post-frame building, and each of the precast skirt panels configured for abutting each other end-to-end to form a skirt wall on the post-frame building; and an attachment apparatus for attaching the one or more precast skirt panels to the at least one post. The present disclosure also provides methods for constructing a post-frame building using such systems.
Building Skirting Base
A mobile home skirting base comprising: a horizontal surface; and two substantially equal, substantially symmetrical vertical surfaces co-extruded with the horizontal surface forming a channel to insert a mobile home skirting panel wherein the vertical surfaces each having an inwardly oriented retention edge that secure the mobile home skirting panel. The height of the vertical surfaces and the inward orientation of the vertical surfaces' retention edges, along with the other aspects of the invention, allows the mobile home skirting base to provide strong support, stabilization, and protection of the skirting panels.

Modular home skirting system with ground cover strips
A ground cover strip is provided for use with a modular home skirting system to provide ground cover for protecting the skirting system during grounds maintenance and for suppressing vegetation. The ground cover strip includes flexible straight and corner pieces laid end-to-end on the ground surface around a perimeter of the modular home. The ground cover strip has a bottom, an outer edge, an inner edge, and a top between the outer and inner edges. The top has an open channel formed therein which faces upwardly and receives a base of a ground channel member. The top also has an outer portion that slopes downwardly from the open channel to the outer edge. Anchoring spikes are driven through the base of the ground channel member and the ground cover strip and into the ground to anchor the ground cover strip and the ground channel member to the ground.

Skirting panel
A panel for skirting of a mobile home comprises an extrusion of a polymer material having a thickness of between 0.040 inches and 0.048 inches. The panel has an exterior face comprising a plurality of panel portions separated by grooves formed in the face. Each of the grooves is defined by spaced apart sidewalls arranged generally perpendicular to adjoining panel portions and a groove base extending between the spaced apart side walls. The groove base has vents. On the exterior face, the side wall transitions to the adjoining panel portion with a radius of between about 5/32 inches and about 7/32 inches. On the exterior face, the distance between the groove sidewalls is between about inches and about 9/32 inches. The exterior face has an embossed stucco finish. The panel is resistant to damage from grass cutting string trimmers having string diameter of less than 0.105 inches.
Perimeter barrier for a building structure
A perimeter barrier for a building structure includes a panel and a j-track coupled to a bottom of the panel. A top track and a z-vent are coupled to the building structure such that the top track and z-vent secure an upper portion of the panel. A top h-track is coupled to the panel and top track, and a bottom h-track is mounted to the panel and the j-track. In addition, a door is installed in the top h-track and the bottom h-track to provide access through the perimeter barrier to a space beneath the building structure. In addition, a kit for such types of components is disclosed.
