FACADE ASSEMBLY, BUILDING STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING THE FACADE ASSEMBLY
In a facade assembly (14) for a building (10), with at least one facade element (16), which may be fastened to a wall or an inter-story ceiling (12) of the building (10), and with at least one fire-protection element (18), which may be mounted between the facade element (16) and the wall or the inter-story ceiling (12), the fire-protection element (18) contains an insulating layer (19) and at least one angle profile (32) with two flanges (34, 36) disposed at an angle relative to one another, wherein one of the flanges (34) of the angle profile (32) is fastened to the facade element (16) and the other flange (36) of the angle profile (32) bears on the insulating layer (19).
Dynamic, fire-resistance-rated thermally insulating and sealing system having a F-Rating of 120 min for use with curtain wall structures
An approved dynamic construction is used for effectively thermally insulating and sealing of a safing slot between a floor of a building and an exterior wall construction, wherein the exterior wall construction includes a curtain wall configuration defined by an interior wall glass surface including one or more aluminum framing members, wherein the vision glass extends to the finished floor level below. The dynamic, thermally insulating and sealing system includes a first element for receiving the insulating elements and positioned in the zero spandrel area of a glass curtain wall construction including only vision glass to maintain thermally insulating and sealing of the safing slot during exposure to fire and heat as well as movement in order to maintain a complete seal extending across the safing slot.
Process for assembling a fireproof system within a stick build exterior dynamic curtain wall façade
An approved dynamic construction is used for effectively thermally insulating and sealing of a sating slat between a floor of a building and an exterior wall construction. The exterior wall construction includes a curtain wall configuration defined by an interior wall glass surface, including one or more aluminum framing members. In particular, a process is useful for assembling a fireproof system within a stick build exterior dynamic curtain wall facade, which includes glass, especially vision glass extending to the finished floor level below.
Glass fiber-reinforced polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam insulation board
External thermal insulation composite systems described herein include a concrete or masonry wall and a thermal insulation board on the concrete or masonry wall. The thermal insulation board includes a polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam having a density of less than 70 kg/m.sup.3 according to ASTM D 1622. Methods of preparing the external thermal insulation composite systems and the thermal insulation boards are also described.
VAPOR RETARDER SYSTEM
A vapor retarder system comprises a vapor retarder and a sealant strip. The sealant strip is adhesively coupled to the vapor retarder to form a continuous vapor retarder.
Process for assembling a fireproof system within a stick build exterior dynamic curtain wall faÇade
An approved dynamic construction is used for effectively thermally insulating and sealing of a safing slot between a floor of a building and an exterior wall construction. The exterior wall construction includes a curtain wall configuration defined by an interior wall glass surface, including one or more aluminum framing members. In particular, a process is useful for assembling a fireproof system within a stick build exterior dynamic curtain wall façade, which includes glass, especially vision glass extending to the finished floor level below.
Pre-fabricated construction panels
A pre-fabricated construction panel (100) for use on an external surface and/or as part of a building or construction is provided. The panel comprises at least a first layer (110) which is at least partially provided from thermally insulating material having a first surface, said panel comprising at least a second layer (120), said at least second layer being provided from fiber cement board, said second layer having a second surface facing said first surface, said first and second layers being connected one to the other by a spacing means located between and adhering to said first and said second surface, which spacing means provides at least one interspace (140) between the first and second surface, said at least one interspace having at least two openings to the external of said panel for enabling air to flow into and out of the interspace towards the external of said panel. The thermally insulating material means material has a thermal conductivity (lambda) less than or equal to 0.05 W/mK.
Vacuum insulation panel
A manufactured apparatus formed via a deep drawn stamping process for use within a building as an insulation device applied both to the exterior sheathing of an existing or new edifice and also above the ceiling plane below its roof structure; which consists of two half vessels made from malleable material, each containing similar structural appurtenances on their exterior faces, which when bonded together encase a cruciform rigid plastic grid-like lattice having many apertures therein for the complete removal of air within this subsequently sealed vessel. This complete state of vacuum totally prevents or drastically stops the transmigration of heat energy loss via conduction and convection from the interior of a building's space to the outside environment during the winter months; and vice versa, thus also retarding any interior gain of ambient heat during the hot summer months.
THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEM AND KIT, AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING SAME
An encased insulating panel includes a vacuum insulation panel in the form of a rectangular sheet including a compression-resistant porous material and a barrier envelope which in gastight manner encases the porous material, and at least one fixing strip having a width (l) and a length, the length being greater than the perimeter of the vacuum insulation panel, each fixing strip forming an envelope around at least part of four successive faces of the vacuum insulation panel and including two free ends which can be joined together to form an attachment flap, the or each fixing strip being assembled securely to the vacuum insulation panel.
DYNAMIC, FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED THERMALLY INSULATING AND SEALING SYSTEM HAVING A F-RATING OF 120 MIN FOR USE WITH CURTAIN WALL STRUCTURES
