A soundproofing structure comprises a jacket having an external surface and an opposite internal surface defining an inner compartment. A resilient and deformable soundproofing material is contained within the Inner compartment and engages the internal surface. Constricting elements are mounted to the jacket for constriction of the jacket to provide inner surface pressure against the soundproofing material for compression thereof. The constricting elements are releasable for selectively releasing inner surface pressure against the soundproofing material for expansion thereof against the inner surface. The soundproofing structure defines a size that is selectively modifiable by selective releasing of the contacting elements.

SOUND ABSORBING STRUCTURE AND SOUND ABSORBING WALL

A sound absorbing structure includes a perforated surface with a plurality of through-holes, a first cavity that has a portion extending non-parallel to a normal direction of the perforated surface, the first cavity being breathable between an interior and exterior of the first cavity via the plurality of through-holes existing in a first region of the perforated surface, and a second cavity that is breathable between an interior and exterior of the second cavity via the plurality of through-holes existing in a second region adjacent to the first region of the perforated surface.

A dry-stack masonry wall supported on hollow piles includes a wall having a plurality of stacked rows of masonry blocks that form a hollow interior grid of horizontal and vertical channels. The wall is supported on piles having hollow interiors, each of which is in communication with one of the vertical channels of the wall. Hardened grout filling the grid of the wall and the interiors of the piles monolithically binds the blocks into a wall which is bonded to and supported by the piles.

CEILING BAFFLE ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE AND CEILING SYSTEM

The present disclosure relates generally to ceiling attachments, for example, suitable for securing ceiling baffles to a ceiling grid. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a ceiling baffle attachment structure including a ceiling grid clip configured to attach to lateral flanges of a ceiling grid beam and a post extending down from the ceiling grid clip. The structure also includes a ceiling baffle having an upper side and a lower side and extending along a length from a first end to a second end. The ceiling baffle includes a bracket disposed at the upper side that comprises a T-slot extending along the length of the ceiling baffle. A retainer is secured to the post and includes a first shoulder engaging the T slot so as to secure the ceiling baffle to the ceiling grid clip.

FREESTANDING ENCLOSED OFFICE WITH WALL SUPPORT STRUCTURE

A system for creating an enclosed room, such as an office, in an open space that has a floor and a ceiling. The system includes a support frame that is self-supported on the floor of the open space. The support frame includes a series of head rails supported by a series of vertical columns resting on the floor. The vertical columns support a series of wall panels and the head rails support a ceiling such that the ceiling is supported by the support frame independent of the wall panels. The ceiling of the enclosed room is created by a series of ceiling panels and at least one air intake panel and at least one air exhaust panel. The air exhaust panel includes an exhaust fan that removes air from within the enclosed room and draws fresh air into the enclosed room. The ceiling can include a plurality of adjustable louvers and lighting.

Acoustic panel

An elongate acoustic panel for installation in an interior space comprising at least one acoustic surface, an edge region adjacent to the at least one acoustic surface, and a distribution of one or more LED's along the edge region.
