The present invention is directed to a wall assembly comprising a novel structural lattice frame comprising vertical studs and outwardly located horizontal furring spaced with thermal isolation pads therebetween at the framing intersections, foam insulation encapsulating the furring and at least a portion of the vertical studs, and an exterior air- and water-resistant barrier-protected sheathing fastened to the outward side of the horizontal furring.

A partition wall sound insulation structure includes: a floor material on which a floor surface is formed; a ceiling material on which a ceiling surface is formed, the ceiling surface being opposed to the floor surface in a vertical direction with a space in a building interposed therebetween; a partition wall that partitions the space in a horizontal direction and includes a pair of face materials that extends in the vertical direction and is disposed with a hollow portion interposed therebetween in the horizontal direction, and a stud that is disposed in the hollow portion and supports the pair of face materials; a positioning member for positioning the stud in the horizontal direction; and a sound insulation face material disposed on at least one of the floor surface and the ceiling surface in the hollow portion.

A partition wall sound insulation structure includes: a floor material on which a floor surface facing an indoor space side is formed; a ceiling material on which a ceiling surface is formed, the ceiling surface being opposed to the floor surface in a vertical direction with an indoor space interposed therebetween; a partition wall that extends in the vertical direction so as to partition the indoor space in a horizontal direction and that is disposed with a gap from at least one surface of the floor surface and the ceiling surface; and a sound insulation material made from an elastic material and including a portion disposed in the gap while being compressed in the vertical direction.

The invention relates to a drywall comprising a first wall section (2) with first stud elements (4), wherein the first stud elements are arranged with a first regular centre distance, wherein in the first wall section a first panelling (5) is arranged at least on one room side (R) of the first stud elements (4). A Z-shaped attachment element for use in building construction is disclosed. The Z-shaped attachment element is made from a single piece of sheet metal that is first cut and then bent to form the Z-shaped cross-sectional profile. The Z-shaped attachment element comprises: an elongated upper flange; an elongated lower flange, wherein the upper and lower flanges are spaced apart and substantially parallel to each other; an elongated middle web section between, and connected to, the upper and lower flanges along respective upper and lower lengthwise bends (wherein the middle web section is diagonal in relation to the position of the upper and lower flanges, thereby defining a generally Z-shaped cross-sectional profile); and a plurality of notches formed along the lower lengthwise bend and into the lower flange and the adjoining middle web section, but not into the upper bend or the upper flange, of the Z-shaped sheet metal attachment element.

A joint sealing tape can be universally used for different profile dimensions, for sealing building joints, particularly for sealing them with regard to noise and/or smoke and with regard to fire.
