WALL PANEL FRAMING SYSTEM
Structures used for dividing, supporting, disguising and/or cladding, for example, modular wall panel systems can include frame members that can include or be in the form of a rail having a panel engaging portion with a generally planar mounting surface configured to accept at least one fastener, the panel engaging portion including first and second lateral sides on opposite sides of the generally planar mounting surface. First and second channels can include side walls extending generally parallel to the generally planar mounting surface, the first and second channels facing away from each other.
Panel light assembly
A panel light wall assembly comprising a support frame structure including at least first and second substantially straight and parallel support frame members spaced apart on opposite sides of a light panel receiving space, a light panel assembly including a rectilinear assembly frame including first, second, third and fourth substantially straight elongated assembly frame members, a light source mounted to the first assembly frame member, a planar light guide member forming an edge and mounted to the assembly frame with the edge adjacent the light source and a fastener interacting with at least one of the first and second support frame members to secure the light panel assembly with at least a portion of the light panel assembly received within the panel receiving space and a second portion extending outside and to one side of the panel receiving space with the light guide member and light source located within the panel receiving space.
SOUND DAMPING AND VIBRATION ISOLATION STRUCTURAL SUPPORT
A channel strut includes a support member with a first tab and a second tab coupled to the support member. A layer of material, such as foam, is disposed on the channel strut. The support member has a low profile and is configured to be attached to successive wall studs via the first and second tabs. The channel strut is attached to wall studs proximate a location with frequent occurrences of sound and vibration, such as studs behind kitchen cabinets, behind door stops, or behind dresser drawings. The layer of material is configured to provide a damping force to reduce sound and vibration at the installed location.
Wall system
A wall system includes at least one of a stud assembly, a top connector assembly, and a leveler assembly. The stud assembly is defined by a first and second upright that are attached by at least one web bracket. The web bracket includes a main body with extension arms on opposing sides. A notch is located at or near a free end of each extension arm. The notches are to be removably inserted over an edge of a respective aperture located on each of the first and second uprights. The top connector assembly includes a holder member to effectively raise and lower a top portion of the stud assembly. The leveler assembly includes a threaded rod to effectively raise and lower the first and second uprights relative to a base.
HORIZONTAL PORTION OF A FRAME IN A STUD WALL AND INSTALLATION TOOL THEREFOR
A horizontal portion of a frame, as a door header, of a predetermined length for installation between two adjacent studs of a stud wall spaced from one another. An installation tool, releasably mounted on a respective stud via a magnetic attachment, supports a respective end of the horizontal portion adjacent the metallic stud during attachment of the horizontal portion to the stud. A kit formed of at least one horizontal portion and at least one installation tool is also provided.
PROTRUSION HOLE WITH CONNECTORS
The present invention relates to a building construction having a smaller aperture by extending the aperture top side edges referred to as protrusions and where the protrusions and the aperture bottom edges secure metal framing members from vertical movement and the aperture side edge and hole notches that secure the metal framing members from vertical and horizontal movement. The metal framing member have different shapes and metal framing member notches that engage the metal support members to reduce or eliminate vertical and horizontal movement between the metal framing members.
FIRE SHIELD CONNECTOR AND PLATE
The present invention relates to a building construction using a fire protection shield connector within a wall cavity formed by fire protection boards connected to metal framing members together using the fire shield connector as a shield between the fire protection boards and the metal framing members with the fire shield connector ends securing adjacent metal framing members together by interlocking the fire shield connector ends to adjacent fire shield connectors ends and where the fire shield connector end has an extension cover securing the hole opening in the metal framing member and securing the opposing connector end by overlapping the adjacent fire protection shield connector forming a tight fit within the wall cavity.
Self-locking metal framing connections using punched out tabs, ledges and notches
The present invention relates to metal framed wall components with self-locking connections having ledges connected to support members and crossing connecting members having punch out tabs being connected to ledges, notches and tabs being connected to other tabs interlocking together to connect wall components together. The wall components spanning between support members connected by holes from support members, hooked receivers, hooked tongues, hook finger ends from the wall components wherein also U-shaped and W-shape clips can also connect other wall components. The wall components can be installed individually or in tandem vertically, horizontally and diagonally between support members or over the side edges.
Floor-to-ceiling partition wall assembly
A method of installing a panel member on a frame assembly includes the steps of providing a panel member having inner and outer surfaces and providing one or more positioning assemblies on the inner surface of the panel. The positioning assemblies each having an adjustable positioning member adapted to engage a portion of the frame assembly. The method further includes setting the positioning members to determine a registration point for the panel member along the frame assembly. One or more driving assemblies are then provided on the inner surface of the panel, each having a biasing member adapted to engage a portion of the frame assembly to drive the panel member towards the registration point on the frame assembly.
