Modular panel system
A modular panel system including a plurality of posts where each post includes a front face, a rear face, and opposed lateral faces. A central channel is formed in the front face where the central channel has a linking opening, a first ledge and a second ledge. Cutouts are formed in the ledges. The rear face includes a panel receiving channel that receives an edge of a panel. A linking element is configured to be secured in the linking opening. The head of the linking element is sized to fit within the first and the second cutouts and be secured by the first and second ledges to couple the first post to the second post. The lateral faces of the coupled posts together form a first side central channel and a first side central channel cutout that is configured to receive a second linking element to couple a third post to the coupled first and second posts.
Wall panel framing system
Structures used for dividing, supporting, disguising and/or cladding, for example, modular wall panel systems can include frame members that can include or be in the form of a rail having a panel engaging portion with a generally planar mounting surface configured to accept at least one fastener, the panel engaging portion including first and second lateral sides on opposite sides of the generally planar mounting surface. First and second channels can include side walls extending generally parallel to the generally planar mounting surface, the first and second channels facing away from each other.
Insertion frame structure and housing using same
To enhance the positioning accuracy between primary members and auxiliary members without need of latch parts such as rivets, an insertion frame structure includes: a pair of primary members having L-shaped cross-sections and placed with the L shapes facing to each other symmetrically; and several auxiliary members having angular U-shaped cross-sections between the primary members. The primary members and the auxiliary members are joined at latch portions. The latch portions of the primary members have clearance-shaped latch holes. The latch portions of the auxiliary members have convex portions to be inserted into the latch holes. Each latch hole has a clearance with a larger dimension than a plate thickness t of the auxiliary members, and continuously from the clearance, a clearance with a dimension smaller than the plate thickness t of the auxiliary members.
FLOOR-TO-CEILING PARTITION WALL ASSEMBLY
A method of installing a panel member on a frame assembly includes the steps of providing a panel member having inner and outer surfaces and providing one or more positioning assemblies on the inner surface of the panel. The positioning assemblies each having an adjustable positioning member adapted to engage a portion of the frame assembly. The method further includes setting the positioning members to determine a registration point for the panel member along the frame assembly. One or more driving assemblies are then provided on the inner surface of the panel, each having a biasing member adapted to engage a portion of the frame assembly to drive the panel member towards the registration point on the frame assembly.
FRAME BACKING PANEL
A backing panel includes a first stud interfacing portion for nesting in a first stud and a second stud interfacing portion for coupling with a second stud, such that a web surface of the backing panel is flush with a surface of the first stud and a surface of the second stud.
