An arrangement for forming a thermally insulated wall is provided that includes two panels connected to one another by multiple connecting means, wherein each connecting means has two receiving openings. Each panel is provided with an insertion opening, and a fixing means is inserted into the receiving opening of the connecting means through the insertion opening. Each of the connecting means includes a holding means of a first kind configured to hold a horizontal reinforcing means that connects the connecting means to one another and a holding means of a second kind configured to hold a vertical reinforcing means that connects the connecting means to one another. Other aspects are described and claimed.

LIGHTWEIGHT BLOCKS WITH STONE-LIKE APPEARANCE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
20210396005 · 2021-12-23 ·

The present disclosure describes modular blocks configured to give the appearance of natural or cut stone. An aesthetic coating composition may be applied to one or more surfaces of a block having a low-density, such as an insulating concrete form (ICF), to form an modular block having the appearance of cut stone. The aesthetic coating composition includes a binder component, such as a cementitious binder made from white Portland cement, or a polymer binder such as an acrylic binder, an aggregate component, such as a limestone aggregate component, and optionally an adhesive component. The aggregate component includes a fine sand portion and a coarse sand portion that effectively enable the appearance of cut stone after finishing of the aesthetic coating surface via sanding, polishing, sandblasting, acid etching, acid finishing, or exposed aggregate finishing.

A panel is disclosed for use in construction. The panel comprises opposing surfaces that extend between first and second opposite ends. The panel also comprises a plurality of parallel (e.g. sawtooth) ridges. The ridges are provided on at least one of the opposing surfaces. The ridges extend along and adjacent to a first of the opposite ends of the panel for at least a part length thereof. The ridges are arranged to engage with and move past corresponding ridges of an adjacent panel when the panels move relative to each other in opposite directions. The ridges are further arranged so as to interfere with the ridges of the adjacent panel to resist relative movement in a reverse of the opposite direction.

Concrete form with removable sidewall

A concrete form includes a first sidewall and a second sidewall positioned in parallel and spaced relation to each other, where the first sidewall has a first passage extending therethrough, with a first insert received in the first passage of the first sidewall. The form also includes a first cross tie having opposed first and second ends, where the first sidewall is removably secured to the first end of the first cross tie and the second sidewall is secured to the second end of the first cross tie. A first fastener extends through the first passage and engages the first insert and the first end of the first cross tie to removably secure the first sidewall to the first cross tie. The second sidewall may be removably or non-removably secured to the first cross tie.

Laminated plate-type sandwich insulation shear wall with tie bolts and installation method thereof

A laminated plate-type sandwich insulation shear wall with tie bolts, including a prefabricated external wall, a sandwich insulation layer, a cast-in-place concrete layer, a prefabricated internal laminated wall board, and an external wall connector. Several bolts disposed between the external wall and the internal laminated wall board. Each tie bolt consists of cylinder head screw, gland, sleeve, and tie screw casing. During installation, the sandwich insulation wall with the bolts are installed in place in a suspended manner and is temporarily fixed, the tying and connection of reinforcing steel bars is completed, a formwork is supported, concrete is poured, the cylinder head screw is removed after the cast-in-place concrete solidifies and the strength of the cast-in-place concrete increases, and the bolt hole is filled with foamed polyurethane. The sandwich insulation wall solves the problem of mutual destruction of the external and internal walls due to the indoor and outdoor temperatures.
