Curtain wall and wall element thereby applied and method for manufacturing such a wall element

A curtain wall constructed from prefabricated connecting wall elements mounted in rows next to and above each other with the wall elements including a frame of assembled profiles on the inside of the curtain wall and of one or more infill elements on the outside of the curtain wall. The frame contains mullions and transoms in the form of profiles which along the perimeter of the frame have female coupling parts and male coupling parts which allow the adjacent mullions and adjacent transoms in an assembled condition in the curtain wall to engage with their coupling parts to form composite basic profiles, where between two rows of connecting wall elements a horizontal seal has been applied which extends continuously in a horizontal direction over the width of the underlying row.

Curtain wall

A curtain wall includes one or more vertically-extending mullions and one or more transoms, each extending horizontally between two mullions and having ends inserted in grooves of these two mullions. The curtain wall also includes at least an inwardly openable panel installed between two mullions, wherein a local adaptation of the two mullions adjacent to the openable panel comprises at least the removal of a laterally directed wall of the inner chamber of each of the two mullions along a height of the openable panel, and wherein the openable panel is installed in the local adaptation of the two mullions adjacent to the openable panel such that, when the openable panel is closed, the openable panel is not distinguishable from a fixedly fitted panel, neither from the inside nor from the outside of the curtain wall.

The invention relates to a facade construction, consisting of panels and a framework in the form of vertical struts and horizontal girders covered by profiled covers. At the locations of intersection of the profiled covers, openings are formed for conducting lighting equipment cables, openings are formed in the frontal planes of the profiled covers for light sources, the openings being commensurable with the diameter of the light sources, and the light sources are located in the same plane as the front part of the profiled covers or project insignificantly beyond same. Separate groups of LED light sources can be connected in the internal volume of the profiled covers with the aid of a switching power-supply connector and switching control connector, and electrical power-supply sources and elements for controlling the light sources are mounted in the internal volume of the profiled covers or are located outside the construction system.

A glazing assembly for a curtain wall glazing system comprising a glazing unit and a frame structure formed by a plurality of glazing profiles. Each of the plurality of glazing profiles comprises a main structural frame part and a removable clamping part. The removable clamping parts when removed from the structural frame parts unclamp the glazing unit and open a clearance allowing removal of the glazing unit in a direction of a first area. At least one of the main structural frame parts comprises a structural portion and a mobile clamping portion. When removing the mobile clamping portion from the structural frame portions a clearance is opened allowing the performance of maintenance activities to an edge region of the glazing unit from the second area.

LIGHTWEIGHT THERMAL BARRIER PANEL AND ANCHOR SYSTEM FOR BUILDING ENVELOPES AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING THE SAME
20230220667 · 2023-07-13 · ·

A lightweight thermal barrier panel and anchor assembly for installation on a new or existing building envelope is disclosed. The system includes a modular panel with an infill barrier and structural anchors. The anchors are attached to the new or existing building envelope on at least one side of the building envelope to receive the thermal barrier panel to create an air cavity between the panel and the building envelope. The thermal barrier panel framing includes openings within rigid framing members to promote ventilation of the air cavity to the at least one side of the thermal barrier panel.

Dynamic, fire-resistance-rated thermally insulating and sealing system having a F-Rating of 120 min for use with curtain wall structures

An approved dynamic construction is used for effectively thermally insulating and sealing of a safing slot between a floor of a building and an exterior wall construction, wherein the exterior wall construction includes a curtain wall configuration defined by an interior wall glass surface including one or more aluminum framing members, wherein the vision glass extends to the finished floor level below. The dynamic, thermally insulating and sealing system includes a first element for receiving the insulating elements and positioned in the zero spandrel area of a glass curtain wall construction including only vision glass to maintain thermally insulating and sealing of the safing slot during exposure to fire and heat as well as movement in order to maintain a complete seal extending across the safing slot.
