CONNECTOR DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING A ROOF FOR A BUILDING
The present disclosure relates to connecting devices and systems for constructing a structure. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to a connector device and system useful for joining structural elements together for constructing a roof on a building. The present disclosure provides embodiments of connectors which are used to secure roof purlins to rafters and/or trusses to enhance the structural integrity of the roof.
Connecting device for mounting a wooden construction element
The invention relates to a connecting device (3) for mounting a wooden construction element (1), in particular in the form of a panel or beam, on a support (2a), wherein the connecting device (3) has a mounting node (4), which is designed for mounting the connecting device (3) on the support (2a), and a coupling arrangement (5), which is connected to the mounting node (4) and which, in the installed state, while projecting from the mounting node (4) on an upper side (1a) of the wooden construction element (1) can be connected to the latter by fastening members (7), which at least partially pass through the wooden construction element (1), wherein the mounting node (4) and the coupling arrangement (5) are each produced from a material which has a higher strength than that of the wooden construction element (1). The invention further relates to a wooden construction arrangement having a connecting device (3) according to the invention and to a structure having such a wooden construction arrangement.
BEARING WALL OF WOODEN HOUSE
A bearing wall partitions into a plurality of openings and in a vertical direction between adjacent column members by bridging a beam member that serves as a window sill between intermediate portions of the adjacent column members in a framework. Both end portions of the beam member are tied to intermediate portions of the adjacent column members via metal joints. A window is installed in the upper opening, and a peripheral end portion of the structural plywood is fixed to the lower opening with a nail. The structural plywood is fixed with nails at a rough nail pitch.
JOINT METAL AND BUILDING STRUCTURE
A joint metal includes a securing plate and a coupling plate. The securing plate is secured to the side surface of a support material. The coupling plate is disposed to project from the securing plate toward the horizontal structural member side. The coupling plate is coupled in a state inserted into a groove formed over the vertical direction on the end surface of the horizontal structural member. The coupling plate includes a plurality of coupling holes and first deficient portions. The coupling hole allows insertion of a rod-shaped coupling tool within the groove. The coupling tool passes through the horizontal structural member. The first deficient portion is formed by cutting out the peripheral area of the coupling hole. The first deficient portion is formed in an arc shape centered at the coupling hole.
Smart corner and wall frame system
In one aspect, a smart corner is provided that can be prefabricated. The smart corner comprises a rear side including a first hole, a first side including a second hole, a second side including a third hole, and a top. A wall frame is also provided. The wall frame includes a top plate, a bottom plate, studs, and four smart corners. A framing system is also provided comprising at least two wall frames. The at least two wall frames connect via the smart corners.
Fastening and Alignment Member
A connection between a connector, a fastener and one or more structural members is disclosed. The connector can be formed with a fastening and alignment member. The fastening and alignment member includes a projecting member and a protruding member in close proximity to a predetermined location for the fastener.
JOIST RECEIVING METAL FITTING, FLOOR STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR BUILDING FLOOR STRUCTURE
A joist receiving metal fitting, a floor structure, and a method for building the floor structure are provided that are configured to prevent contact between the joist and the joist receiving metal fitting even when the joist is fixed to a floor base panel in advance and building is performed. Each of the joist receiving metal fittings includes fixing portions configured to be fixed to a side surface of each of the floor beams and a receiving portion projecting horizontally from the floor beam to receive an end portion of each of the joists. The receiving portion has a bottom plate on which a bottom surface of the joist is to be placed, the pair of side plates rising from both side edges of the bottom plate, and bulging portions that are formed at respective upper ends of the side plates and bulge in directions where they approach each other.
Light weight construction system based on horizontally pre-slotted panels
Modular building methods and systems using lightweight modular panels, and specially configured transition panels for transitioning from wall to floor, or from wall to roof. Identically configured standard panels are used for constructing the walls, floor, and roof, with transitions from one structure to the next (e.g., wall to floor, or wall to roof). Each of the variously configured panel types includes channels (e.g., 2 pair of channels) formed through the length of the foam body, where the channels are configured to receive splines (e.g., flanges of an I-beam) therein. In the standard panel, the channels may include pairs of top and bottom channels, with the channels offset towards the respective panel major faces. In the transition panels, the channels may be similarly configured, but positioned differently to make the appropriate transition. The splines are connected to a frame, which acts as a template and transfers loads to a foundation.
Seismic reinforcement strucutre and seismic retrofitting method
Disclosed is a seismic reinforcement structure and a seismic retrofitting method, including: a first bracket including a horizontal part extending in contact with the bottom surface of the building, and a vertical part formed in connection with the horizontal part and extending in contact with the wall surface of the building; a second bracket including a horizontal part extending in contact with the ceiling of the building, and a vertical part formed in connection with the horizontal part and extending in contact with the wall surface of the building; and a connecting support rod having a vertically long shape and vertically connecting the horizontal part of the first bracket and the second bracket, wherein the relative position to the bottom of the whole building is fixed, thereby preventing the building from collapsing.
INSTALLATION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF WALL PANEL
An installation and construction method of a wall panel is provided for installing the wall panel to a pair of wooden columns and a wooden horizontal member, the wooden columns being installed in a standing manner so as to be spaced apart from each other, the wooden horizontal member being installed to the wooden columns. The method includes: forming the wall panel by connecting mutually adjacent end portions of a plurality of surface members in a horizontal direction by a half column extending in a vertical direction, studs being fixed on first plate surfaces of the plurality of surface members; and after installing the wooden horizontal member to the wooden columns and adjusting erection of the wooden columns, fixing edge end portions of the surface members of the wall panel to front surfaces of the wooden columns and a front surface of the wooden horizontal member.
