CLT structure
To provide a CLT structure in which an anchor member does not interfere with a reinforcement member. A CLT structure includes a strip footing having a reinforcing bar extending in a longitudinal direction, a wall panel which is a panel material obtained by laminating and bonding sawn boards and in which a slit extending along the longitudinal direction is formed in a lower end surface, joint plates each partly embedded in the strip footing and having a joint board section of a flat plate shape at least partly projecting upward from an upper surface of the strip footing, and drift pins connecting the joint board sections and the wall panel in an inserted state where the joint board sections projecting from the upper surface of the strip footing are inserted into the slit of the wall panel. The joint plate has the joint board section, a flange section embedded in the strip footing and extending in a direction crossing the perpendicular direction from the joint board section, and an anchor bolt embedded in the strip footing and extending downward from the flange section.
Tension Tie
A connection is provided where a connector can act as a holdown or tension tie and transfer tension, uplift, or lateral load between an anchored member and an anchoring member. The connector is used in combination with separate anchor and fasteners. The anchor may be tied to a concrete foundation, another connector of the same type, a wood framing member, or structural member of a similar type, or other supporting or anchoring members.
Foundation to frame connector
A foundation connector is formed with a foundation attachment section and a frame attachment section connected by a transition section at the central area of the foundation connector. The frame attachment section is attached to a frame member with fasteners and the foundation attachment section is attached to the foundation with anchors. The foundation attachment section has a curved foundation attachment base. The frame attachment section has a curved frame attachment base. A transition section is provided between the foundation attachment section and the frame attachment section that is curved.
POST AND BEAM STRUCTURE AT A MULTI-HEIGHT OPENING PORTION
An opening portion (2) having a height of two stories or more is provided in an exterior wall that faces a multi-height space. At least one wind-resistant post (3) is composed of a glued laminated timber, and has a cross-section in which a long axis dimension thereof is at least twice as long as a short axis dimension thereof. The wind-resistant post (3) is disposed upright and extends continuously through upper and lower floors, with a long axis direction of the cross-section being orthogonal to an opening plane. This wind-resistant post (3) exerts a high resistance against wind pressure acting on the opening portion, thereby achieving a post and beam structure that adds excellent spaciousness and visual appeal to the opening portion.
Installation and construction method of wall panel
An installation and construction method of a wall panel is provided for installing the wall panel to a pair of wooden columns and a wooden horizontal member, the wooden columns being installed in a standing manner so as to be spaced apart from each other, the wooden horizontal member being installed to the wooden columns. The method includes: forming the wall panel by connecting mutually adjacent end portions of a plurality of surface members in a horizontal direction by a half column extending in a vertical direction, studs being fixed on first plate surfaces of the plurality of surface members; and after installing the wooden horizontal member to the wooden columns and adjusting erection of the wooden columns, fixing edge end portions of the surface members of the wall panel to front surfaces of the wooden columns and a front surface of the wooden horizontal member.
COMPRESSION AND TENSION REINFORCED WALL
A reinforced building wall includes a foundation and an anchor rod anchored to the foundation; a first stud wall disposed above the foundation; the first stud wall having a first bottom plate, a first top plate and first and second vertical studs operably joined to the first bottom plate and the first top plate; a horizontal first bridge member disposed between the first stud and the second stud, the first bridge member having a first vertical opening; a rod post having one end operably connected to the anchor rod and operably connected to the first bridge member to transfer downward forces from the first bridge member and the second bridge member to the rod post; the anchor rod is attached to an anchor; and the anchor is disposed in an upper portion of the foundation.
ANCHOR BOLT APPARATUS
An improved anchor bolt apparatus that includes a rotating blade at one end and may also include a removable viewing box on the opposite end that are adapted to allow a J-Bolt to be replaced from the outside of a building without the need of cutting drywall or any exterior siding. Furthermore, the removable box may be used to allow an engineer to view and certify the proper tightening of the anchor bolt securing the vertical walls and framework of the building to its foundation.
JOINT STRUCTURE FOR COLUMN MATERIAL AND COLUMN BASE FITTING
At a joint between a butt end face of a lower end of the column material made of wood and a butt end receiving face of the column base fitting that supports the butt end face, an outer edge of the butt end face extends more outward than an outer edge of the butt end receiving face, and at a corner between the butt end face and a side face of the column material, a water draining function that causes water running along the side face of the column material to drop downward is provided.
Concrete boss anchor
An anchor assembly for being embedded in concrete includes a metal plate including an opening, the metal plate including a top surface and bottom surface; the opening including a wall extending from the top surface or the bottom surface; and a threaded rod operably attached to the metal plate.
Connecting device for mounting a wooden construction element
The invention relates to a connecting device (3) for mounting a wooden construction element (1), in particular in the form of a panel or beam, on a support (2a), wherein the connecting device (3) has a mounting node (4), which is designed for mounting the connecting device (3) on the support (2a), and a coupling arrangement (5), which is connected to the mounting node (4) and which, in the installed state, while projecting from the mounting node (4) on an upper side (1a) of the wooden construction element (1) can be connected to the latter by fastening members (7), which at least partially pass through the wooden construction element (1), wherein the mounting node (4) and the coupling arrangement (5) are each produced from a material which has a higher strength than that of the wooden construction element (1). The invention further relates to a wooden construction arrangement having a connecting device (3) according to the invention and to a structure having such a wooden construction arrangement.
