ANCHOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Blast resistant shelters and structural designs therefor according to which the structural designs include anchoring systems and manufacturing of the anchoring system. The anchoring systems include at least one bracket with a spiral winding and opposing first and second end portions. The first end portion includes two holes, and the second end portion includes two holes. The spiral winding is disposed between the first end portion and the second end portion.
Hollow post anchoring systems for decking and related methods
Apparatus, systems, and methods for securing anchoring posts to a decking surface without the use of a metal plate or washer to redirect force from a single central fastener on an internally mounted anchor, or the use of an externally visible connector. An anchor member having a generally planar upper surface and vertical sidewalls has connection ridges extending out from those sidewalls that correspond to channels formed in the internal sidewalls of a hollow post member. Using a press, the anchor member is pressed into a secured position in the post. A plurality of attachment holes are disposed in a pattern around the anchor member, passing through the body thereof. For installation, a post with the fitted anchor is placed on a decking surface and a plurality of screws are attached to the decking surface to secure the anchor member and post thereto.
Flashing and L-bracket assembly for rack mounting of solar panels on roof
The invention herein disclosed and claimed is an L-bracket and flashing assembly used to mount a rack for supporting a solar-panel array. It uses fewer sub-assemblies and is simpler and faster to install than prior art L-bracket and flashing assemblies.
FIELD-TYPE MODULAR NEGATIVE PRESSURE ISOLATION ROOM SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING FIELD-TYPE MODULAR NEGATIVE PRESSURE ISOLATION ROOM SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a field-type negative pressure isolation room system including main facilities necessary for constructing a negative pressure isolation room defined by the legal regulations, wherein the main facilities are manufactured in a plant in a modular way, so these modular facilities are usually stored in a warehouse, etc., and are installed in an outdoor site such as a parking lot, playground, vacant lot, and the like in case of emergency to utilize as a negative pressure isolation room, and these modular facilities are disinfected and dismantled during demolition and stored in the warehouse again, whereby these modular facilities can be used repeatedly regardless of the number of times of use, and can be quickly constructed and dismantled.
OUTDOOR FITNESS PAVILION
Outdoor fitness pavilions, and systems and methods related to the same are provided. The pavilions include a floor substructure including floor support members, pillars distributed about a perimeter of the floor substructure, a roof substructure including roof support members, at least some of which are connected to the pillars. The pavilion includes integrated fitness equipment items connected to at least some of the pillars.
APPARATUS FOR FASTENING PREFABRICATED CONCRETE BLOCKS
A fastening apparatus for two or more prefabricated blocks, in which the apparatus includes a perforated plate, a first block with a step, a connector plate that sized and shaped to engage the step, and an upstanding wall that is spaced apart from the block member. The perforated plate is connected to the wall and extends away from it towards the step. The perforated plate is partially mounted on part of the connector plate so as to sandwich it between the perforated plate and the step.
Rafter bracket
A rafter bracket configured to connect a vertical post to a rafter and beam(s) is described herein. The rafter bracket may include lower vertical side plates, a horizontal plate, and upper vertical side plates. The horizontal plate may be perpendicular to the upper and lower vertical side plates and may separate the upper vertical side plates from the lower vertical side plates. The horizontal plate and lower vertical side plates may create a lower cavity that receives the vertical post. Meanwhile, the rafter may be positioned on one of the upper vertical side plates and positioned between two of the upper vertical side plates and may be angled at an acute angle relative to the vertical post as well as the upper and lower vertical side plates. One or more of the lower vertical side plates may receive lateral plates that define a lateral cavity receiving the beam.
Floating Modular Stair System
A floating modular stair system includes a wall mounting plate that is attachable to a vertical wall, and a base mounting plate that is anchorable to a horizontal floor. A monostringer beam is attachable to the wall mounting plate and to the base mounting plate. The monostringer beam includes an integrated hook attachment for variable angle adjustment and attachment to the wall mounting plate. Stair tread brackets are attachable to the monostringer beam for equal spacing of stair treads after installation of the monostringer beam to the wall mounting plate and to the base mounting plate. Each of the stair tread brackets are also designed for individual variable angle adjustment and leveling after attachment to the monostringer beam, and the stair tread brackets are rotatable through an adjustable anchor point about a fixed pivot anchor point to level the stair treads of the floating modular stair system.
DE-CONSTRUCTIBLE SMALL INHABITABLE ENCLOSURE
A de-constructible enclosure has a structural frame with a post, a first panel with a first end, and a second panel with a second end. The post has a substantially H-shaped cross-section including a first recess on a first side of the post and a second recess on a second side of the post. The first recess of the post receives the first end of the first panel. The second recess of the post receives the second end of the second panel. The post, the first panel, and the second panel together define a wall of the enclosure. A method for manufacturing the de-constructible enclosure further includes caulking joints of the connected post and panels and applying an elastomeric coating to the joints to seal the wall of the enclosure.
STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY USING DIFFERENTIAL SETTLEMENT ANCHOR
A structural assembly using at least one anchor assembly for attaching a first structure to a second structure is described. The anchor assembly has a body having a first face and a second face. The first face is transverse to the second face and has an elongate slot. The second face has a through hole. The body is fabricated from a material that fails at a temperature in excess of 1,000° F. A fastening member is positioned in the elongate slot for connecting the first face to the first structure and for sliding engagement with the elongate slot in response to relative movement of the first structure and the second structure.
