APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC ACOUSTIC LOCKING CEILING SYSTEM AND METHODS THEREOF
A dynamic acoustic locking ceiling baffle and a dynamic acoustic locking ceiling system, that includes a single piece of material folded into acoustic locking ceiling baffles, using locking pieces and locking mechanisms, to quickly and easily install the acoustic locking ceiling baffle onto construction ceiling hangers to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
FOLDED CEILING BAFFLE
In one aspect, a folded ceiling baffle is constructed from a sheet of felt. For example, in a particular implementation, the folded ceiling baffle is constructed from a sheet of felt having respective portions of shape and size that may be folded to form the ceiling baffle.
FLUSH MOUNT BAFFLE FOR FINISHED CEILINGS AND WALLS
A baffle assembly for installation on a finished ceiling or wall membrane comprising an elongated base and an elongated panel mountable on the base, the base having fastening areas spaced along its length for receiving fasteners therethrough and anchored on the membrane, the panel having front and rear edges bounding a width of the panel, the panel having a hollow space at the rear edge extending along substantially the full length of the panel, the hollow space being constructed and arranged to receive the base and the base being constructed and arranged upon reception in the hollow to laterally stabilize the panel, the base and panel having interengaged parts concealed in the hollow that maintain the panel on the base.
CEILING BAFFLE APPARATUS AND CEILING BAFFLE SYSTEM FOR A DYNAMIC ACOUSTIC CEILING AND METHODS THEREOF
A dynamic acoustic ceiling baffle and a dynamic acoustic ceiling baffle system, that includes multiple shaped baffles that can be quickly and easily installed onto construction ceiling hangers without the need for additional tools, to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, such as an undulating image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
Insulating Sealing Element for Head-of-Wall Joints
An insulating strip is disclosed. The insulating strip includes a support layer and an insulating material strip secured to the support layer. The insulating material strip includes a first insulating material strip part and a second insulating material strip part where the first insulating material strip part and the second insulating material strip part are spaced apart from each other.
Ceiling system
A ceiling system in one embodiment includes a support grid including intersecting grid support members and grid openings formed between the grid support members. A vertical baffle is positioned in a grid opening and is attached to the support grid. The baffle includes opposing front and rear faces extending between opposing lateral sides of the baffle. First and second mounting grooves formed in the baffle engage and support the baffle from the grid. In one embodiment, one of the mounting grooves is disposed in each lateral side to support the baffle from opposite sides. The baffle may further include a third mounting groove formed in the rear face which engages the support grid to help align and squarely register the baffle with respect to the grid for clean linear visuals. In one embodiment, the grid support members may have a standard T-shaped cross section.
ACOUSTIC BAFFLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A clip (3) for use in a suspension system for the vertically suspended acoustic baffles (2) and a frame element (4) for the acoustic baffle is provided in a suspended ceiling system. The clip and frame facilitate multiple connection options for a vertically suspended acoustic baffle in a single system.
Asymmetrical Building Surface Baffles and Building Surface System
The present disclosure relates generally to building surface baffles, for example, suitable for forming a room divider, a wall covering, an acoustical surface, or a ceiling surface. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a baffle for a building surface. The baffle includes an elongate body extending along an axis from a first end to a second end. The elongate body has a depth including a narrow portion that extends away from the axis along a first direction and a wide portion. The wide portion includes first and second projections that extend laterally outward from the first direction. The baffle also includes a first aperture extending into the first end of the elongate body along the axis and a second aperture extending into the second end of the elongate body along the axis.
MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR AN ACOUSTIC BAFFLE SYSTEM
A retaining assembly includes a clamping member for holding a cross member to an acoustic panel so that the cross member extends orthogonally to a longitudinal axis of the acoustic panel. The clamping member is configured to locate the cross member against the acoustic panel and includes at least one aperture for receiving a securing member to secure the clamping member to the acoustic panel. A mounting system is also provided, having the retaining assembly, one or more of the cross members and a plurality of connecting elements for connecting the cross members to the acoustic panel. An acoustic baffle system is further provided including a plurality of the acoustic panels and a plurality of stiffening members configured for attachment to a respective acoustic panel. The mounting system is used to connect the stiffening members to the acoustic panels.
Apparatus and system for acoustic curved ceiling baffle and methods of manufacturing thereof
An acoustic curved ceiling baffle and system that incorporates sidewalls with cuts or kerfs, top and bottom spines and ribs to properly configure the curves in the acoustic baffle, and that can be quickly and easily installed onto ceilings using integrated locks, cables or magnets, to produce a curved baffle system, and to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise and/or room acoustics.
