Method and system for identifying conflicts in a floor joist to floor joust horizontal interface
11709973 · 2023-07-25 ·

The present invention is a method for accessing a model of a building; selecting a set of floor joists, wherein the floor joists are identified by a set of members, the type of members, and the member properties; isolating a plurality of the floor joists, wherein the floor joists interface with another floor joists in a horizontal type interface; selecting members of the floor joists involved in the interface, wherein the interface is identified as a connection between the floor joists; detecting the member type and the interface type; calculating a set of actual values associated with the interface type; comparing the set of actual values with a set of required values and determining the delta of the actual values and the required values; and identifying each interface where the delta is outside a predetermined range.

Decking anchor, decking system utilizing the decking anchor, and method of installing the decking anchor

The decking anchors may have a primary portion and a secondary portion that are operatively coupled together, such as through a fastener. The primary portion may comprise one or more primary projections (e.g., first and second primary projections) and/or the secondary portion may comprise one or more secondary projections (e.g., first and second secondary projections). In a first position adjacent projections may be retracted towards each other. In the first position the anchor may be installed into a cavity of the decking panel. The anchor may be rotated into a pre-installed position, and a force is exerted on the anchor such that the projections contact the webs of the decking. In response to continued force the projections move with respect to each other such that the anchor is moved into an installed position (e.g., the adjacent projections extend with respect to each other).

Structural connector for fastening structural components in insulated concrete formwork

The present invention relates to a device and a method associated with the device. With respect to the device, it is a structural connector for fastening structural components in insulated concrete formwork (ICF). The structural connector consists of a double threaded cylinder bolt assembly that aligns through openings in the ICF wall. One end of the cylinder bolt assembly embeds into the cavity of the ICF wall where openings in the cylinder bolt assembly receive concrete and reinforcement bars. The other end of the cylinder bolt assembly is threaded to receive a double threaded washer head bolt. The cylinder bolt assembly is used to mount ledger boards, floor joist hangers and roof truss connectors to the ICF wall, locking them together acting as one unit in withstanding bending and uplift loads imposed by large forces such as floor and roof truss systems.

CELLULOSE-BASED STRUCTURAL FLOORING PANEL ASSEMBLY

A cellulose-based structural building panel assembly includes a cross-laminated timber (CLT) core which is reinforced with one or more post-tensioned tendons stressed to a pre-selected tensioning force, following the placement as part of the panel assembly. The tendons are provided within a sleeve which is grouted with a channel formed in an underside of the core and which after post-tensioning of tendons is infilled with a binder securing the tendons in a fully bonded configuration.

Self-lifting concrete form with platform adapted to accommodate horizontal reinforcing steel

A forming system includes a frame and two forming walls. The two forming walls are positioned at a distance from each other to define a first vertical wall course. One forming wall is supported by the frame such that the one forming wall can be translated toward or away from the respective other forming wall. The frame can be raised to raise the two forming walls to be positioned to pour a second vertical course on top of the first vertical course. The translation of the one forming wall allows for the pouring of the first vertical course with horizontally extending rebar that extends through the one forming wall outside of the first vertical wall course, to tie in to a subsequently poured floor slab. The translation permits the vertical raising of the one forming wall, without striking the extending rebar, to pour the second vertical course on the first vertical course. A worker's platform is provided that is supported by the frame and vertically movable by raising the frame. The worker's platform is located below the one forming wall on a side of the one forming wall opposite the respective other forming wall and is rollable or pivotal to also clear the extending rebar during raising of the frame.

Rapid construction method for flush assembly of the prefabricated steel beam and the floor slab

A new design and rapid construction method for flush assembly of prefabricated steel beams and floor slabs is disclosed. The upper flange of prefabricated steel beams is “custom character” shaped, which consists of horizontal flange, vertical flange and top flange. Both beam stiffeners and studs are set on the horizontal flange, in which the former can strengthen the bearing capacity of the beam and avoid its local deformation, and the latter can fix the floor slab; prefabricated studs and precast concrete inside the vertical flange in the factory are used to constrain the deformation of upper flange. There is no limitation with respect to the form of floor slab, which is connected with the prefabricated steel beam by hitching the prefabricated rebar ring of the floor slab to the welded studs of the upper flange of the prefabricated steel beam.
